After losing in their opening game the Far Eastern University Tamaraws made sure that they will charge back immediately after they dominated the University of the East Red Warriors 81-65.
The Tamaraws took control of the whole match, leading 17-10 in the opening period, they even extended the lead up 34-25 to end the first half. The Red Warriors tried to mount a comeback in the third period, but it rained three on the side of the Tamaraws with Inno Comboy, Ken Tuffin, and Xyruz Torres poured in threes to keep UE at bay.
Inno Comboy scored a career high 24 points in this game, scoring 6 triples, most came in the second half. Meanwhile, LJ Gonzales almost scored a triple double after producing 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.
UE's import Alex Diakhite led the Red Warriors with 21 points and 17 rebounds, while Rey Suerte added 17 points.
