#NCAA95 Day 18: Letran, San Sebastian forces four way tie in the standings, San Beda sweeps first round.



The Letran Knights and San Sebastian Stags forced a four way tie for the second to the fourth seed in the standings of the Men's Basketball Tournament of the NCAA.

The Knights put a stop in the streaking Blazers after they silenced them 88-64. Jerrick Balanza led the Knights with 26 points, while Edson Batiller added 10 points.  Kendrix Belgica was the lone Blazer to score in double digits with 12 points.

Winning against Arellano 79-85, San Sebastian ends the first round with 6-3 record tied with CSB, Letran, and Lyceum. Allyn Bulanadi led the scoring with 22 points, JM Calma added 17 points and 10 rebounds, RK Ilagan added 12, while Kent Salado and Justin Arana scored 13 points each, while Dariel Bahia added 12 markers.

The San Beda Red Lions sweeps the first round of elimination after they devoured the Mapua Cardinals 69-60.

Calvin Oftana scored a big double-double performance of 24 points and 12 rebounds, James Kwekuteye and Donald Tankoua both scored 10 points. Rookie Paolo Hernandez top scored for the Cardinals with 16 points, Noah Lugo added 13 points, and another rookie Cyril Gonzales added 11 points.
