Never Not Love You tackles the story of Joanne an ambitious lass that dreams of being a successful career woman in the future, but that ambition was derailed when he met Gio who is a happy go lucky Tattoo Artist/Graphic Designer who's life is about to change as opportunity knocked on his doors. 

The movie isn't just about choosing between Love or Career, that's cliche and so 2016, Never Not Love You offered a new variety of choices as the characters were torn between choosing happiness or chasing dreams that was the main struggle that Gio and Joanne faced in the movie. Gio wanted to be happy, but Joanne wanted to chase her dreams and from there conflict arise as Joanne sacrificed her dreams for Gio's happiness, but she felt she wasn't contented with what she had as she wanted to grow and she wanted to chase her dreams again.

Never Not Love You is the best Jadine movie I've seen, it was well written, well conceptualized, very engaging, and the realistic approach of the story was on point, making it very relatable and relevant to certain issues specially those issues that the young adult couples are facing.

The issue of being happy and contented versus getting your dream job, dream car, and dream life doesn't only apply with the millennial generation as I believe that even our parents and grandparents also faced that when they were young and starting out with life and making a family. 

I should also say that this is my favorite movie of Direk Antoinette Jadaone, the continuity was fluid, the transition of the story was smooth, and the story telling was fast paced without sacrificing any important detail, the cinematography was good it doesn't made the movie looked like a postcard film with scenic views or anything instead they focused more on the characters not the location.  

Lastly, the end part almost made me cry, the use of flashbacks made it more relatable and more dramatic that fits perfectly to close out the movie.

Jadine once again proved that they are "Team Real" as they showcased realistic acting in this realistic story.

James showcased an unfiltered side of him in this movie, unfiltered in the sense that it was far from what we usually see from him in his other movies, no sugar coating, no bullshits, just a heartfelt and real emotions can be felt from him, actually I was wowed with how James leveled up his acting prowess in this movie there's this one scene in London where Gio is saying sorry to Joanne, there were no dialogues yet his eyes expressed alot I didn't even noticed he mouthed words in that scene. 

Nadine on the other hand delivered another sophisticated portrayal of  Joanne. She owned the character and she was able to portray the character naturally I actually sometimes felt that Nadine and Joanne are the same person.   

What separate Jadine from the rest of the love teams we have today is their maturity and being a real couple the emotions are pure, no more inhibitions nor restrictions, they can go all out whenever they want to and those things made them a unique and very engaging.

Over all, Never Not Love You is not your ordinary Summer movie, actually it is not a summer movie as it tackles real life situations that is experience by alot of young couples out there, the movie is very engaging and relatable that I am sure will give justice to your money. 

Never Not Love You left me with the question "Are you willing to give up your dreams in exchange of your happiness? or are you willing to exchange happiness to your dreams?"
