Meet the New Kings of Mister International Philippine 2023

The new kings of Mister International Philippines has been crowned. Out of the 54 good looking and dashing gentlemen, 8 distinctively gentlemen were crowned. 

Held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater last June 28, the 54 candidates went on a rigorous selection process from the preliminaries held in Cagayan Province last June 23 up to the coronation where they strut their stuff in their swimwear down to the formal wear, and lastly the question and answer portion. 

Phil Tungul of Lubao, Pampanga was named as Mister Teen International-Philippines 2023, Ryan Cruz of Cagayan Province will represent the Philippines in the inaugural Mister Charm, Oriental Mindoro's Shawn Sulit was given the Mister Beaute Philippines title, while Gabriel Bautista of Pasig went home with the Mister Globe Philippines, Cebu City's Nathaniel Tiu is set to represent the country in the Mister Earth pageant. 

Cavite City's Kenneth Aniban and Batangas City's Ruslan Kulikov will both be representing the Philippines in the next edition of Mister National Universe in Thailand. 

Last, but definitely not the least, as expected, the Mister International Philippines 2023 title was given to early favorite, Quezon City's Austin Cabatana, the 6'4" model will represent the country in the Mister International pageant that will also be held here in the Philippines this October. 

Named as runner-up were Nueva Ecija's Daeniel John Felismino and Ryan Kristopher Sacopon of Talisay, Batangas, the two were announced on Mister International Philippines official social media accounts.

1. Let’s talk about your love life, how is it? Single, Taken, or It’s Complicated?

“Single, kasi kapag ka merong love life medyo di ka makakafocus sa career, eh kailangan focus ako sa career kasi pangarap ko to kaya I chose to be single.”

3. How many times have you been into a relationship? 

“Well meron akong signaficant na dalawa na maiisip kong seryoso, kasi yung the rest medyo saglit lang ganon.” 

4. What’s your ideal partner? 

“Gusto responsable, yung may pagka independent sya, para di lang siya naka depende sa akin ganun, parang ayoko lang yung nakadepende siya sa mga tao, gusto ko meron siyang sariling decision making, pagka meron siyang gusto or gustong gawin alam niyang gagawin niya to kasi gusto niya to.”    

5. What turns you on and what turns you off? 

“kapag nakita ko yung drive sa dream nila, as someone na chinechase ko talaga yung panag

“Kapag nagtatopless ako hahaha.”

“Binaback hug ko ng matagal, tapos hinahalikan ko sa pisngi.”

“Sa beach, naliligo kayo, intimate kayo naguusap, nagkukulitan, naghaharutan.”

10. What age did you lose your innocence? 

“18.” 

Meet the 40 Candidates of Miss Grand Philippines 2023

All is set for the grandest pageant in the Philippines as the very first Miss Grand Philippines pageant finally introduces their Top 30 candidates that will vie for the golden crown and the chance to represent the Philippines in Miss Grand International this October.

1. How do you keep yourself healthy? 

“Everyday talaga akong nageexercise kasi tabain kasi ako eh, actually mataba ako before lagi nga akong nabubully eh, kasi maliit ako tapos lagi pa kong nasa labas sa arawan, so yung skin ko di ganun ka ganda. Imaginin mo, maliit, di maganda yung skin, tapos medyo chubby chubby so ako yung pulutan ng bullying dati talaga. 

Kaya lagi na kong nageexercise ngayon, para din in check lagi yung health.” 

2. You workout right? Do you follow certain workouts? What’s your favorite and least favorite workout? 

“Every other day ako nagbubuhat, tapos yung sa in betweens nung every other day na yun na exercise yun naman yung cardio and abs workout, pero every day pa din naman nagaabs work out ako mas iniintense ko lang dun sa parang “rest day”. 

Favorite ko, Cardio, kasi iba yung pakiramdam pag nagpapawis ka eh. Tapos least favorite ko, shoulders, masakit eh, tapos ang hirap pa palakihin.” 

 

3. How about diet? What are the foods that you take and you avoid?

“Ma-Tuna ako, tapos everyday every meal ko tatlong eggs lagi, and lagi akong nagooatmeal medyo nagavoid ako ng rice eh pero kapag ka kunware di mapigilan kasi masarap yung ulam nagkakanin, pero ang inaavoid ko talaga is sweets, di naman din ako fan ng sweets eh.” 

4. How do you relax? 

“Mahilig ako matulog, kapag may shooting kunyare di ko eksena ay natutulog ako ganun ako magrelax talaga, hihiga ako sa kama, tapos aircon, electric fan, goods na ko dun.” 

5. First thing you do when you wake up. 

“Umiinom ng vitamins, ng collagen, tapos magchecheck ng phone, tapos magreready na ko mag exercise.” 

6. Last thing you do before going to sleep. 

“Skin care ulit, tapos inom ulit ng vitamins, scroll scroll lang sa facebook (ng phone), or magbabasa ng binabasa kong libro hangang makatulog.” 

7. Favorite part of your body?

“Abs ko hahaha, kasi siyempre winorkout ko yun ng ilang months eh so kapag nakikita ko sya naiisp ko eto yung diniet ko eh tsaka winorkout ko eh, tsaka syempre masarap mag topless hahaha. ” 

8. Least favorite part of your body? 

“Legs ko, kinulang sa height eh hahaha.” 

9. Part of your body that needs improvement?

“Shoulders, kasi sobrang hirap talaga nya palakihin, kapag naka muscle tee ako napapansin ko ang liit talaga ng shoulders ko.”

10. Biggest Insecurity? 

“Height, kulang eh haha”

Say Hello to the Men of Mister International Philippines 2023

After the success of their first edition, the Mister International Philippines pageant is bringing male pageantry to another level as they bring 55 gorgeous and distinctively handsome Filipino men not only in the Philippines, but from around the world. 

The pre pageant activities will all be held in Tuguegarao City, including the Preliminary Competition this June 23. The Finals night will be on the 28th of June at the Newport Performing Arts Theater.

Kaleb Ong: Chinito Charmer 3.0

Don’t be fooled by the looks, he might still look like a baby boy, but we got here another chinito charmer for this month with Kaleb Ong. 

This 20 year old cutie is an industrial engineering graduate, the youngest of three siblings, and a certified Lola’s boy and a budding actor that lives independently in the metro. Although being an engineering graduate, it was a childhood dream for Kaleb to become an artista and when the door of opportunity opened for him, he quickly grabbed that chance to make it in front of the camera.   

Kaleb has been doing acting stuff since 2021, he already appeared in different independently produced BL (Boy’s Love) series, where he played the lead character like in “My Furry Love”, “Meet My Angel”, and “Love Is” to name a few.   

His first shot to mainstream showbiz is through the BL (Boy’s Love) Series of Regal Entertainment’s “The Day I Love You” that premiered last April on Regal’s Youtube Channel. with 10 episodes. He played the role of Royce, one of the friends of the leads in the series. 

He shared that he was scouted by his management, Virtual Playground while auditioning for the series and a good thing he was able to deliver and got one of the roles for the 10-episode series. 

After that stint, Kaleb has also appeared on different shows like Regal Series Present, he shared that shooting for that episode of RSP was one of his memorable experiences in his showbiz career, that was the first time he saw himself on TV. 

For Kaleb, playing a psychopath is on top of his dream roles, he can actually go as far as what a character asks for, but for now he limits himself to roles that fits his age and looks as well, so he isn’t doing any frontal nudities or intense love scenes for now, maybe?
