Coach Olsen Racela and the FEU Tamaraws emerges victorious over Coach Nash Racela and the Adamson Soaring Falcons as Rhonjay Abarrientos fired a cold blooded three to seal FEU's 66-65 sweet victory.
The Tamaraws opened the game strong with an early 11 point lead in the opening period, but the Falcons kept their hopes alive as they were able to keep the Tamaraws at a striking distance for the rest of the game.
Going to the final quarter a hot shooting Jerom Lastimosa pushed Adamson with a 9 point advantage going to the final tick of the clock, but here comes Xyrus Torres and LJay Gonzales to chase the lead down and eventually snatching back the lead in the last two minutes of the game.
Going to the final seconds of the match Lastimosa fired a three that gave the lead back to the Falcons at 65-63, with just a quarter of a minute left in the game Rhonjhay Abarrientos hits an ice cold three to stun Adamson and to notch their 3rd win this season.
Speaking of Rhonjhay Abarrientos, he top scored for the Tamaraws with 17 points, LJay Gonzales followed with 16 points, and Xyrus Torres completes the trifecta added 13 points for the Tamaraws as they go 3-3.
On the side of the Falcons, Jerom Lastimosa soared in losing efforts with 16 points, Cedrick Manzano added 12, and Lenda Douanga had 10 markers as they go down 1-5 in the standings.
