A new international pop (i-Pop) girl group is born! Calista, the all-girl group composed of Anne, Daine, Denise, Elle, Laiza, and Olive is all set to conquer the stardom as they release the music video of their first single “Race Car” in their grand media launch at the Novotel Hotel in Araneta City last March 8.
“These girls are on the rise and they are getting there fast.” Calista manager Tyronne Escalante shares. The group was formed back in early 2021 and after thorough screenings, workshops, and make overs here’s something Tyronne would be very proud of.
The music video of “Race Car” took three days to shoot in different location, including the Asian Aerospace Hangar at the NAIA Complex, IM Hotel’s Rooftop Bar, and the Clark International Speedway.
International composer and music producer, Marcus Davis is the man behind the catchy and up beat song “Race Car”, Marcus is also the man behind the songs Good Life and Filipina Girl.

Going back to the media launch of Calista, the girls didn’t not fail to impress the press and bloggers with their amazing and electrifying performance on stage along with their guests Youtube Sensation Niana Guerrero and Billy Crawford.
This is also a prelude to their upcoming concert called “Vax to Normal” this coming April 26 at the Araneta Coliseum, more details will be up about this in the upcoming days.
