The Boys Love fever continues as it penetrates the Metro Manila Film Festival this year, we know we've seen LGBTQ+ movies in the MMFF before from the remarkable Markova in the year 2000, Die Beautiful in 2016, and the recent one Rainbow's Sunset, but we've never seen a full blown love story between two young boys falling in love with each other.
A coming of age Boys Love story, The Boy Foretold by the Stars tells the story of two different boys in an exclusive all boys school, one is an outgoing and loud, the other is discreet and silent, but what if the stars aligned for the two and make them fall for one another?
This 46th Metro Manila Film Festival cherish the young love these boys will bring, introducing Keann Johnson and Adrian Lindayag, the Boy Foretold by the Stars, directed by Dolly Dulu, streaming on Upstream.ph this December 25.
