After the supposedly inaugural Summer Film Festival of the Metro Manila Film Festival last April 11, 2020 got cancelled due to the Pandemic, all of the 8 participating movies were all shelved in the meantime as the cinemas are closed until the community quarantine is over. But here comes TINCAN Films under Toni Gonzaga braving the new normal for the local movie scene as they partnered with Netflix Philippines to turn their entry "Love The Way U Lie" to an Original Netflix movie.
Starring Alex Gonzaga, Kylie Versoza, and Xian Lim, "Love The Way U Lie" tells the story of a Physchic, a Widower, and a Ghost, Stacey (Gonzaga) is a hopeless romantic fortune teller and a psychic that met a young widower, Nathan (Lim) who wants to reconnect with his deceased wife Sara(Verzosa) whom wanted him to let go and move on already.
Directed by RC Delos Reyes, "Love The Way U Lie" premieres on Netflix Asia this August 19!
