After 55 years of being with Binibining Pilipinas under Stella Marquez Araneta, the franchise of Miss Universe Philippines is now under a new management, with former Miss Universe 3rd runner up Shamcey Supsup taking over the National Director duties of the now stand along MUP Pageant starting this 2020.
The announcement came right after the failed bid of Bb . Pilipinas Universe Gazini Ganados in this year's Miss Universe Pageant were Catriona Gray is the reigning queen.
