Binibining Pilipinas 2018: National Costume Portrait

Binibining Pilipinas again showcased the ingenuity of Filipino Designers as the top 40 Binibinis they proudly paraded their National Costumes made by their chosen designers, this year it is the Mindanao-an and Tribal Costumes reigned supreme in the recently held National Costume Competition.

Just like last year I also got my own top 5 based on the look of the National Costume and the over all look of the Binibini plus the way she presented it in the fashion show; without further adeu here's my top 5 starting off with 1 as the highest:

1. #Binibini35 Sandra Lemonon/ #Binibini20 Catriona Gray:

A warrior and a princess this has to be the best description of the Natcos worn by Sandra and Catriona, these two really compliment each other every time I see them ever since I met the two years ago.

The over all look and presentation of these two gorgeous binibinis really did impressed me, from their stage presence, elegance, and beauty they both deserved to be on top.

Catriona's national costume is a Muslim princess inspired one with gold details, a veil, and a crown to complete that made the over all look of the costume very regal. Meanwhile Sandra's Natcos is inspired by a tribal warrior with gold details and a spear to complete the look.

Catriona's Natcos is made by Jearson Dimavivas, while Sandra's costume is made by Edwin Uy.

2. #Binibini11 Andrea Abesamis:

Aya's national costume is a fiery red with a golden sun rays head piece and fan, what I like about this is the trail that has those intricate design patterns that is very nice to look at. Chico Estiva made the Natcos of Aya

3. #Binibini8 Shane Tormes:

Shane's costume is a unique one in the competition, featuring butterfly sleeves on a warriors outfit plus the coconut and the bolo with bunch of sili as a head piece surely this is one of the beautifully crafted unique costume that night and it is made by Polly Lagyap.

4. #Binibini31 Jehza Huelar/ #Binibini39 Karen Gallman: Jehza and Karen wore the typical national costume that we always see in every pageant.  Karen Gallman's Traja De Mestiza is made by Louies Pangilinan, while Neil Patrick Jimlani for Jehza Huelar

Jehza wearing a Royal Blue colored Terno with tassels and a mindanao-on clothe at the center of the Terno. I just love how she gracefully and elegantly walked her way in the fashion show that she made her Terno stand out from the rest.

Karen on the other wears a green with gold accent Traje De Mestiza that made her drop dead gorgeous and so elegant, the intricate details adds elegance to the over all look of Karen that is very regal.
