Love is in the air this February as Ivory Music Philippines teams up with BEC-TERO Music Thailand to bring the newest Asian duo in Thai singer, song writer, and musical genius ToR Saksit and the Philippines Dance Princess Maja Salvador in the song collaboration entitled "Falling Into You" which was released digitally last February 9 and will be released in 8 other countries/territories.
In the press conference held last week at the Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas, ToR and Maja admits that they were both clueless who they are and they also admitted that they stalked each other on Social Media just to get to know each other before Maja flew to Thailand last September to record the song and to formally meet ToR.
Maja also revealed that doing the music video was kind of unusual for ToR as he is not into acting really. ToR on the said that working with Maja and in the Philippines isn't that difficult as he had many Filipino friends based in Thailand, in fact he shared that once had a Filipino teacher back when he was still studying.
When asked about what they think about the opening of doors between South East Asian entertainment Maja said "hindi na tayo magugulat because of Social Media naging mas malaki yung opportunity ng lahat hindi lang yung mga artist here in the Philippines and other countries". for ToR "The world of music is getting smaller and then it is easier to connect and I think it is a good thing that South East Asian Countries are joining forces to create a big South East Asian music culture here", "We are reconnecting this side of Asia" he added.
This song collaboration brought a lot of first for Maja and ToR, their passion and love for singing and performing has been the common ground and they look forward doing more projects together.
