This Cinemo original show will show how ordinary Filipino families deal with challenges without forgettimg to have fun and find humor in their lives.
"Funny Ka, Pare Ko" tackles the life of the Delyon Family, headed by Bigboy Delyon, played by Bayani Agbayani who is a former entertainer turned carinderia owner who is married to a fellow entertainer Carlita, played by Karla Estrada. After their first son was born named Jay Ar, played by Jesse James Ongteco, Bigboy and Carla left their former job to live a modest life by managing their own carinderia business that was owned by Bigboy's Grandfather Lolo Boy played by Mar Lopez.
But their simple and quiet life will be shaken with the arrival of Ninang Lolit, played by Beverly Salviejo, amd her dreadful boyfriend Gardo, played by Manuel Chua, ho came to settle the debt of Lolo Boy worth Php200000 or else they will take over the carinderia.
With the help of Komikero Friends, Nong Nong(Walter Balinan), Ryan(Ryan Rems), Bangkay, Sadam, Steven (No Direction), and Diego and Gendent (Crazy Duo) along with Carla's brother Dongdong played by Jayson Gainza, will the Delyon Family save their home and their carinderia using tjeir talent im comedy.?
The show will premiere this April 3, 7pm, exclusively on ABSCBN TV Plus Cinemo.
