Loisa 18: A Birthday Concert

Reality TV star-turned-teen idol Loisa Andalio has come a long way from being a Pinoy Big Brother housemate to becoming the latest concert performer to watch out for as she holds her first-ever solo concert at the Music Museum on April 29.

“The Loisa18: A Birthday Concert” is being produced by Star Events, an exclusive present to the multi-talented millennial teen star and a huge career milestone as she turns 18 on April 21. Turning 18, Loisa wants to travel out of the country since she wants to explore the world more thatshe is now of legal age.

Joining Loisa in the concert as her special guest is none other than pop-rock singer Yeng Constantino who is the former’s topmost favorite amongst today’s local performers.

This exciting show follows the release of her first single and music video under Star Music entitled, “High School,” held last March signaling her official entry to the music scene. This revival song of Sharon Cuneta’s original 80’s hit is just one of the pop song lineups for her much-awaited debut performance.

The singer-actress first became popular in “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” in 2014. She has since become a must-see talent starring on hit TV shows “Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita,” “Be My Lady,” “Wansapanataym: My Hair Lady,” and “My Dear Heart.”

Many have seen Loisa grow as a performer, too. She is a former member of It’s Showtime’s all-female group, GirlTrends, and is now part of ASAP’s BFF5 together with Maris Racal, Kira Balinger, Ylona Garcia and Andrea Brillantes. Prior to PBB, she was also part of a sing and dance group called 3G.

Last year, she was handpicked by One Music PH to become part of the digital concert “Double Hearts” featuring other up-and-coming singers Maris, Sue Ramirez and Kristel Fulgar. This time, Loisa is excited to showcase her vocal prowess live on stage at her very own concert.

By accident and by some stroke of fate, he meets Diane dela Cruz (Bela), who he thinks is his "life charm." Little did he know that their encounters would lead him to the toughest choice his heart will ever make: luck or love.

Diane, however, is no sucker for stories of luck and/or life charms. She is a firm believer of love and how romance sheds light, beauty and happiness to one's being. Their partnership proves lucky enough until they discover that choosing between luck and love can be a tough pick.

After the success of their first team up on the big screen in the movie Ilawod, Iza Calzado reunites with Ian Veneracion in the suspense-thriller movie "Bliss", directed by Jerrold Tarrog and produced by Articulo Uno and TBA. The film was first screened at the Osaka Asian Film Festival in Japan, where Iza Calzado won her the Yukushi Pearl Award Best Performer award.
