#RegalLegacy: Regal Entertainment marks its Diamond Year with a preview of upcoming movies.

It has been six majestic decades since Regal Films opened their doors to Filipino moviegoers, producing over 600 movies over the years. From a thriving popcorn stand outside the Podmon Theater in Recto Avenue, Manila that was opened by the late Regal Matriarch, Lily Y. Monteverde. Regal Films has become one of the biggest film production outfits in the country today, it has given some of the most iconic films that captivated the audiences and critics and has been continuously giving a diverse portfolio of movies from different genres and generation. 

Regal has not only brought countless of stories to the big screen, but it has also shaped the landscape of Philippine cinema itself. As we look back to the 60 years of Regal Entertainment Inc. we will also be looking forward to inspiring new generations of film makers, actors, and producers of how powerful the power of storytelling and the art of cinema is. 

Regal Legacy will definitely shine brighter this 2024 as the film production unveils their biggest line up of films spearheaded by the new generation of film producers led by Regal's newest Executive Vice President, Atty. Keith Monteverde with Ms. Roselle Monteverde.

In a press conference held last Saturday, September 21, Regal Entertainment Inc., officially unveiled the last three movies that was approved by Mother Lily, Guilty Pleasures, My Future You, and Untold. 

First up is Guilty Pleasures, starring JM De Guzman, Jameson Blake, and Lovi Poe, the movie tackles a lawyer's deep, dark guilty pleasure. Directed by Connie Macatuno, Guilty Pleasures is set to premiere in cinemas this October 16.  

Next is My Future You, starring Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin, the film tackles the story of two teenagers living 15 years apart and was connected via the internet, directed by Crisanto Aquino, the movie has yet to get a play date. 

Last, but not the least is Untold, starring Jodi Sta Maria, the movie is a psychological thriller directed by Derrick Cabrido. The movie aims to enter the 50th MMFF this year.
