Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Announces Top 50 Candidates.

 

 

After the successful campaign of Beatrice Luigi Gomez in the 70th Miss Universe pageant where she made it up until the Top 5 of the competition, the Miss Universe Philippines organization is now in search of another phenomenal Filipina to represent the Philippines in the 71st Miss Universe. 

The organization officially revealed their top 50 candidates from all over the Philippines, some notable candidates in this year's top 50 are crossovers from Miss Philippines Earth 2018 Celeste Cortesi, Reina Hispano Americana 2019-5th Runner Up Katrina Llegado, and Miss World Philippines 2019 Michelle Dee. 

Miss Universe Philippines 2020- 3rd Runner Up Pauline Amelincx will try her luck again as she joins again in  this year's pageant.

Tyrone Tan: Bold and Sweet

We get a little bit mushy and steamy on our final week as Tyrone Tan shares his thought about love, relationship, and what is sexy for him? 

1. Are you single or taken? 

"Taken, bago palang kami kaka six months palang namin." 

2. How do you make a relationship last long? 

"Trust talaga sa isa't isa, kasi long distance din kami so yung foundation ng love namin is trust talaga." 

3. How was it having a long distance relationship? 

"Mahirap sya pero masaya din kasi atleast both of us we get to focus on our works and lives kasi hindi din kami halos magkasama araw araw more on ano talaga nakakapag focus kami sa mga gusto naming gawin."

UAAP Reopens Their Doors This March

 

After more than two years and after two seasons cancelled, the University Athletics Association of the Philippines is finally resuming, as announced on their official social media pages yesterday, February 25. The league is opening its doors anew for their 84th season this coming March 26, 2022. 

But still due to the pandemic that we are in, the UAAP decided to limit the sports that will be played to just Men's Basketball, Women's Volleyball, and the Cheerdance Competition will be the main sports to be played. 

Other sports that will be played are the Men's and Women's 3x3 Basketball, Chess, Men's Beach Volleyball, and Poomsae. 

The Men's Basketball Tournament will open the 84th season of the UAAP on March 26, the tournament will be in a bubble same as the PBA when it reopened last year, meaning there will be no live audiences still in the venue, but the league is considering to let fans watch if the situation gets better. 

For the TV coverage, the UAAP is partnered by Cignal and you can watch the games live on UAAP Varsity Channel #263 HD, One Sports, and on Cignal Play Premium. 

Coco Martin supports new partylist advocating for livelihood and the transport sector

 

Coco Martin, famously known as Cardo Dalisay on-screen, is making rounds all over as he debuts his endorsement not of the partylist with the same name as his show, but of a new party-list – AP Partylist #AkoyPilipino on Friday, February 25.

 

“Anuman ang hirap na ating pinagdadaanan, may kakampi na tayo…” Martin introduced his new party-list group with first nominee Rep. Ronnie Ong in-action in the background in the partylist’s video now circulating online. He continues, “Ang AP Partylist ang tutulong magbigay ng trabaho at kabuhayan sa mga manggagawang Pilipino.”

 

Rep. Ronnie Ong is Coco Martin’s long-time friend and is nicknamed by PeopleAsia as the “frontliner Congressman.” Ong is known for his various out-of-the-box COVID-19 Bayanihan projects since the first lockdown, such as his #LibrengSakay program for healthworkers, #LibrengGulay program for community kitchens, #LibrengTablets and E-skwela Hub e-learning centers for students and teachers.

 

Before the pandemic, Ong also supported senior citizens looking for employment through his Tulong Pangkabuhayan program, deploying various able-bodied and willing-to-work seniors at airports, public universities and government agencies. During the pandemic, he also helped out-of-work transport workers such as UV Express or FX drivers by employing them as #LibrengSakay drivers, as well as some laid-off ABS-CBN employees who found alternative work as contact tracers.

 

More than just Coco Martin, the all-star cast of Ang Probinsyano forming the famed “Task Force Agila,” has also expressed their support for AP Partylist on their social media pages, sharing the various advocacies of AP Partylist closest to them. “Mula po noong umpisa nakasama na namin si Cong. Ronnie, at kita namin na nagtrabaho talaga siya, naglingkod talaga siya. Kaya ngayon, ang #164 AP Partylist na kasama siya ang sinusuportahan na namin. Sana po ay suportahan niyo rin,” Coco Martin said.

 

 

Aside from the endorsement video, AP Partylist also collaborated with OPM artists Bassilyo, Sisa and Smugglaz with their “Ako’y Pilipino,” anthem that sings of the pride, perseverance, and hardwork of Filipinos. Tyrone Tan: Heartthrob To Hunk

This week we get physical with our guy of the month, Tyrone Tan. Probably he is one of the hottest chinitos on Social Media today (well he's got almost 100k followers on Instagram) and most probably they are waiting for this cutie to shed off his clothes and post some fresh from workout and gym selfies and make us wants for more. 

For Tyrone, posting those shirtless photos is not for thirst traps instead he posts these photos to motivate himself to be better and to keep his body in shape and fit for the projects coming on his way. Mikael Daez Offers World's Best Records in "The Best Ka!"

 

 

 

GMA Network is bringing back the best and the most amazing records set in the Guinness Book of World Records in their newest Sunday afternoon infotainment show "The Best Ka!", hosted by Mikael Daez.

Mikael admits that he felt a bit pressured now that he is hosting his own show, but the 34 year old actor also said "In the face of pressure just make sure that you give 110%, 200%, 1000%, kasi yan yung kontrolado mo".  

This is the first time that Mikael will be hosting his own TV Show in his 10 years in the Kapuso Network. Joining the ranks of his fellow Kapuso hosts such as Dingdong Dantes, Chris Tiu, and Drew Arellano, Mikael made them as his inspiration to learn more and improve his hosting style and skill. 

 "Me as a host is a product of  working with all the host I ever worked with" Mikael said.

 

On the first episode of "The Best Ka!" Mikael will be joined by his wife, Miss World 2013, Megan Young. 

When asked what was the best part of being married, Mikael said that the best part is that there's nothing much has changed between him and Megan, being married for two years they still does what they used to do even before they got married back in January of 2020.
