LG G4

Today the Korean mobile phone giant, LG unveiled their latest flagship Smartphone, the LG G4. The G4 unlike its other siblings focuses more on its style as it now features a leather back cover in different colors.   

The LG G4 features a Quad HD 1440x2560 resolution 5.5 inch IPS LCD with 528ppi pixel density making the viewing experience superb. The G4 comes with Android 5.1 out of the box, and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with Dual Core 1.6Gz Cortex-A57 & Quadcore 1.44GHz Cortex A53 Processors, plus 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory that is expandable via a micro SD card slot. 

Another feature where the G4 focuses more is on the Camera, it features a 1/2.6" sensor size 16 megapixel rare cameras and a massive 8 megapixel front facing camera a first in the market making it not just a superb phone for low light photography but also making it the best in terms of taking selfies.

Sony Xperia Z4

Japanese Electronics Giant Sony releases their latest High End Smartphone. Dubbed as the Xperia Z4, the smartphone features a 5.2 inches IPS LCD Display that finally supports Quad HD resolution, the Z4's built is practically the same with the Z3 and Z2 with Aluminum Frame that protects the sides of the phone plus a shatterproof glass and IP68 certification making it more durable, dust proof and water resistant though it is only 6.9mm thin.

The Z4 comes with Android 5.0 out of the box, it runs on Quad Core Snapdragon 810 64-bit processor plus 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of Internal Storage, on the camera department the Z4 still uses the same 20.7MP rear camera with BIONZ image processing engine and G Lens that enables the phone to capture great images even in dark area, one of the big improvements of the phone is the front camera, from the usual 2 megapixel the Z4 now sport a 5.1 megapixel wide angle camera with Exmor AR sensor making it a Selfie optimized.

The Xperia Z4 is powered by a 2930MAh battery, it comes in White, Black, Copper and Aqua Green. Regarding the release of this device, it will only be exclusive to the Japanese Market and the catch is that the Legit Flagship Device of Sony is set to be announced next month, looks like the Japanese are going head to head with the Korean Brand LG in releasing their flagship device also scheduled next month.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Preview

I got to hold the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge yesterday at the Globe Store in SM Megamall, and though I was only able to tinker it for a while and I guess I can give my personal preview of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. So let' begin with the Specifications of the phone. 

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a 5.1 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with an edge to edge curved glass that is corning gorilla glass 4 front and back panel, the resolution of the screen is really high with a 1440x2560 resolution that is equivalent to 577 ppi pixel density. The glass back panels looks really great specially it is the one that makes the phone more elegant though the only problem I noticed with it is that it tends to capture dirt and fingerprint smudges easily and it is not that easy to remove. 

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features an Aluminum Frame that adds on to the premium looks and feel of the phone. On the inside of the phone is  a 64-bit exynos 7420 chipset with octacore processor clocked at quad 2.1 GHz and another quad 1.5GHz with 3GB of RAM that makes the performance of the phone very fluid and fast. 

  The camera of the s6 edge gets a big improvement, specially on the front facing one that features a 5 megapixel camera that is really good for selfies, meanwhile the rear camera features a 16 megapixel camera that I can say a bit better compared to the S4 and S5,

The S6 Edge comes with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with the latest Touchwiz UI that still looks "Cartoony",  The S6 Edge comes with a non removable 2550 MAh battery, the phone is also capable of wireless charging. It comes in 4 colors the White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Blue Topaz.  

Overall, I can say that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is one of the most beautifully crafted smartphone in the market today with the Metal Frame and Glass Panels that really gives an elegant look to the device, plus the very smooth and fluid overall performance of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is the Smartphone to beat this 2015.

Edward Benoza(Album)

Half-Spanish, half-Filipino singer-songwriter Edward Benosa is positive that there is still enough room in the Philippine music scene for real talents, and he intends to prove that with his self-titled debut album under Star Music.

Edward initially got his 15 minutes of fame when he auditioned for “The Voice of the Philippines Season 1″ in 2013. Despite being a non-chair turner, his good looks caused Toni Gonzaga to gush with admiration. Even coach Sarah Geronimo said it was his edge as a performer.

“But I don’t just want to be that ‘good-looking singer.’ I wish to let people hear my songs and discover my compositions,” said Edward. “We Filipinos have a vast taste for music and I would like to believe that there is a part of the audience for my kind of sound.”

According to Edward, he is more on the side of pop ballad and his songs about love reach out to the hopeless romantic Pinoys who easily connect with experiential lyrics. He said, “Love songs define certain moments of our lives and the more relatable the lyrics are, the more it will captivate their hearts.”

Edward’s self-titled debut album contains eight tracks including “Ikaw Lang,” “Paglisan,” “Puso Kong Ito,” “Sa Piling Mo,” “Why Didn’t You Stay,” “Stay” featuring Marion Aunor, and his carrier singles “Iingatan Ko” and “Di Man Lang Nagpaalam.” All the tracks have minus one versions in the album.
