#ABSCBNBall2019 Best Dressed (Part 2)

Here's the second part of my ABSCBN Ball 2019 Best Dressed.

Going solo and simple at the Ball, Joshua Garcia looked dashing in his Black Barong by Joey Espiritu partnered with his clean and good boy look indeed one of tonight's gentlemen.

Francis Magundayao's barong caught my attention as the details of the barong features beads that looked like rice grains and I think that is quite unique in the ball, although I've seen Jericho Rosales version I still think Magundayao's version of the Palay Barong is more intricate and realistic.

Worth mentioning in my best dressed list are newbies from Star Magic, Anthony Jennings and Kendru Garcia. Anthony wears a printed black pantsuit by Jhay Layson and well in a formal event you'll never go wrong wearing black and I think Anthony is one of the best looking that night.

Kendru on the other hand wears a classic Barong with intricate embroidery paired with pink pants by Marbin Garcia, this one is my favorite Barong in the ball.

Richard Gutierrez, the best dressed male of the night, exquisite looking, perfection in his Barong by Joey Samson.

Jane Oineza also made her way on my Best Dressed list in her etherealblack terno made by Mara Chua, dubbed as Magwayen, the black terno was based on the visayan goddess of the underworld.

Janella Salvador's beige ball gown made by Michael Leyva made its way to my best dressed, the ball gown also showed some skin via the low neck line of the ball gown.

PBB Otso's Fumiya Sancai's Hakama x Barong fusion by Jaggy Glarino is also one of the unique outfit for the night, the fusion of the Japanese and Filipino culture was very evident in his ensemble and i am loving it.

#ABSCBNBall2019 Best Dressed (Part 1)

Hundreds of Kapamilya Stars gathered again to support the Bantay Edukasyon project of Bantay Bata 163 and also to pay tribute to the late Gina Lopez.

This year's theme is Modern Filipiniana, a mix of modern fashion and classic national costume which is centered on simple to intricate design for either Barong or Filipiniana. Most of the female stars opted for a red hued Terno, while the male stars opted for Black Barong or a conventional Barong styled outfit.

Some stars opted to mix and match colors and fabrics, but here are my best dressed for this year's ABSCBN Ball 2019. Here's the first part of the best dressed featuring the love teams and the female celebrities (All photos courtesy to ABSCBN).

First off, in the list is Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber, the two wore matchy brown/gold sheer with a bronze toned embellished which are identical to both. Edward Barber's Gobernador Heneral look went simple yet classic for him, while Maymay Entrata's gold toned Terno went extra with her red roses as a headpiece to complete the overall look. Both Maymay and Edward are wearing ensemble from Furne Amato.

Next is Kira Balinger, this girl slays in her simple yet elegant classic terno by Mark Bumgarner which highlighted her body and beauty as well.
Mylene Dizon is next, she goes for a floral printed Terno with a green trail to make the print pop out more, well how to stand out and be unique at the same time? Better ask Mylene.

From Floral to Leopard, Pia Wurtzbach look stunning once again in her modernized leopard print terno with a midriff by Ezra Couture from Dubai, that shows off her curves, Pia was undeniably one of the head turners at the Ball

Another best dressed for tonight is Iza Calzado in her red terno by Rajo Laurel, she is just so regal and elegant in the red carpet, one of the most gorgeous at the ball.

Kim Chiu's Serpentina cut Terno was one of the biggest for tonight and it made her stand out, the volume of the gown, the intricate design, and Kim's over all look made her one of the best looking lady at the ball. Her gown is made by Benj Leguiab, dubbed as the Traje de Magdalena the Long Sleeves Filipiniana Barong is made from 24 different types of bead glass, pearls and Swarovski crystals.

_________________________

Here comes the three love teams that never failed to impress us with their charm, looks, outfits for the event, they are the much awaited at the red carpet each year and just like every ball here they are impressing us again, let's start off with Lizquen.

Liza Soberano wears a modernized terno by Patricia Santos, the intricacy of details is superb, making her dazzle in the red carpet along with Enrique Gil, who by the way looks really good in his Black Barong by Randy Ortiz, it perfectly fits him.

Kathniel, from the simple white half sleeved dress last year, Kathryn Bernardo dons a raspberry colored crystallized terno by Michael Cinco, the details of the gown and the bangs made Kath a stand out on the red carpet, meanwhile Daniel Padilla's Illustrado look for the ball was really unique, the Paulo Lazaro Inabel weaved fabric suit and pants worked well for DJ.

The Inabel fabric is a native product of Benguet, it will took one weaver to weave a fabric design for about two to three days.

Last and definitely not the least, the sparkling couple, Nadine Lustre looking lustrous in her fire red high slit is just blazing! Meanwhile, James Reid going for an all white suit and pants by Paulo Lazaro with a three colored crytallized belt made them sparkle at the red carpet, and see that disruptor? Only James Reid can rock it on the red carpet.

#UAAP82 Day 5: Ateneo dismantles sloppy FEU,

The Tamaraws once again falter behind the Blue Eagles as they lost in their first meeting this season 82, 63-46.

The Blue Eagles went on a scoring romp in the second of half of the match extending their lead by as much as 19 points, limiting the Tamaraws to only 46 points the lowest score by a team this season.

Xyrus Torres led timid Tamaraws with 8 points, along with Barkley Ebona who also scored 8 points.

Angelo Kouame led Ateneo with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Ebona 8, Torres 8, Comboy 6, Gonzales 6, Nunag 5, Bienes 4, Tuffin 3, Alforque 2, Tempra 2, Cani 1, Tchuente 1

iPhone 11: Pro for Less

Apple has announced their newest line of phones, the iPhone 11 and its siblings the Pro and Max Pro.

Coming up with the same design like the iPhone's from last year (yes, still with big notch), the only thing that changed in the aesthetics of the new iPhone is the camera as it is now housed in a square glass frame (almost identical with the Mate 20). The new iPhone 11 will feature a more improved camera with additional Wide Angle and Ultra Wide Angle lenses and improved low light feature.

The new iPhones have surprisingly got a cheaper price tag upon launch with the iPhone 11 is priced at $699, the 11 pro got $999, and the 11 Pro Max is at $1099.

Looks like the US-China trade wars took its toll to the Cupertino based company, and what's the best way to entice a billion market is to cut their prices at par with the competition.

The iPhone 11, Pro, and Max are coming to the Philippines later this month or early next month.

Remembered for its intricate structure and viewed as a symbol of the first rise of film as a staple of Filipino culture, Art Deco Cinemas in the Philippines were prolific in the 1930s and 1950s and will be an apt visual theme in the celebration of the One Hundred Years of Philippine Cinema.

With the help of Big Bulb, Inc., the theater will be transformed into a fusion of the past and the modern with Art Deco aesthetics and elements of old cinema for the once-in-a-lifetime milestone of the film industry.
