It looks like Herlene Budol's could be first international pageant stint is on the rocks again as contrary to what everyone thought about was inadvertently wrong as the ALV Pageant Circle and the Miss Grand Philippines organization has clarified that her title, Miss Philippines Tourism is a generic title and not the Miss Tourism World that will be happening in London later this year.
The statement came after a cease and desist order was posted by the legal counsel of another pageant which is Hiyas ng Pilipinas on their social media account that states that "All contracts, agreements. covenants, and memorandums made prior to February 18, 2023, including franchise agreements are considered null and void", that includes the use of the Miss Tourism World Philippines.
Last year, it was Justine Felizarta, Miss World 2022 First Princess who assumed as the representative of the Philippines to the Miss Tourism World pageant in Vietnam last year, where she finished as 1st runner up.
The ALV Pageant Circle assured
that Herlene Budol will still be competing in another international
tourism pageant that they will be announcing soon.
