After almost three years of hiatus, Kylie Padilla is all set to make a comeback on prime time television as she headlines GMA Network's newest Telebabad offering, "Bolera".
Kylie is set to play the role of Joni Fajardo, the kickass billiard wiz kid that aims to be the next big thing in the sport that is dominated by male. Preparing for the role, Kylie went to work with the legends of Philippine Billiards such as Efren "Bata" Reyes and Django Bustamante, they even had rising billiard masters Rubilen Amit and Johann Chua in the pool to help her master the sport.
"Ang nakuha ko sa kanila is the same thing na sinabi ni Tsong Joey na kahit gaano ka kagaling sa craft mo, sa ginagawa mo sa buhay, ang naramdaman ko lang kina Efren is napaka humble nila, they made me feel like they're just normal people" Kylie said.
The whole cast of "Bolera" went to a locked in taping for almost three months and that was the first time she was away from her two sons for the longest time.
Joining Kylie in this new serye are Rayver Cruz and Jak Roberto who will play as the love interest of the character of Joni.
For Jak, before we see him call the shots in "Bolera" he will be playing as SEA Games 2022 Gold Medalist Johann Chua in the upcoming episode of Magpakailanman this coming Saturday May 28.
Also joining them in "Bolera" are Joey Marquez, Gardo Verzosa, AL Tantay, David Remo, and Ms. Jaclyn Jose, directed by Jorron Lee Monroy and Dominic Zapata.
All is set for Kylie Padilla as she calls the shot and take the cue in "Bolera" this coming May 30, Monday, 8:50pm, on GMA Telebabad.
