#NCAA95 Day 27: EAC dims down Perpetual Help's final four chances, San Beda sweeps rival Letran, Lyceum ends Mapua's winning streak

Even though they are already out of the final four contention the EAC Generals were able to snatch a win, this time against the Perpetual Help Altas, 80-76.

Jethro Mendoza unleashed 22 points to lead the Generals in their third victory this season, Kriss Gurtiza added 13 points, and JP Maguliano added 11 markers.

Rey Peralta top scored for the Altas with 21 points, Edgar Charcos added 14 points and 11 rebounds, Kim Aurin and Jielo Razon contributed 12 and 11 points respectively.

The San Beda Red Lions are close to sweeping the first round of elimination after they defeated their rivals Letran Knights, 75-63. The Red Lions are now at 15-0 in the standings.

Calvin Oftana has emerged as the steady leader for the Red Lions, as he once again led the team in this win with 16 points, Clint Doliguez added 13 points, while Evan Nelle and James Kwekuteye both delivered 12 points in this game.

Larry Muyang had 13 points for the Knights in this game, King Caralipio and Jerrick Balanza both added 11 points, Letran drops to 9-6 record and currently at solo third in the standings.

The Lyceum Pirates ended the winning streak of the Mapua Cardinals after they defeated them 77-71.

Jaycee Marcelino top scored with 14 points, Mike Nzeusseu added 13 points and 13 rebounds, while Jayvee Marcelino added 11 points. Lyceum keep their solo second with 11-3 record.

Justin Serrano and Warren Bonifacio teamed up for the Cardinals with 17 and 15 points respectively. Mapua drops to 7-7 at 5th spot.
