James Kwekuteye and Calvin Oftana led the roar of the Red Lions with James having 17 points and Calvin with 17 points and 10 rebounds, JB Bahio added 11 points.
Going down to 0-2 the Heavy Bombers were led by Marq Dionisio with 13 points and Ry Dela ROsa with 11 points.

The Letran Knights bounced back from their opening day loss after they beat down the Arellano Chiefs 81-72.
Jerrick Balanza had a season high 31 points to lead the Knights in this bounce back win, Jeo Ambohot added 15 points and 11 points in this game.
Rence Alcoriza led the now 0-2 seasons host with 19 points, Justin Arana added 12 markers, whil Alfren Gayosa had 11 points for the Chiefs.

The EAC Generals stunned last year's finalist Lyceum Pirates after they defeated them 84-82 via Jethro Mendoza's game winning shot.
Aside from the game winning shot, Jethro Mendoza scored a total of 21 points for the Generals, Marwin Taiwan added another 21 points, Chester Carlos had 11 points, while JP Maguliano added 10 points and 15 rebounds.
On the side of the Pirates, Jaycee Marcelino led the Pirates ship with 23 points and Reymar Caduyac added 17 points.
