The UP Fighting Maroons avenged their first round loss to defeat the collapsing FEU Tamaraws 95-82.
Paul Desiderio drops season high 21 point to help UP beat down the depleted Tamaraws, two Maroons also scored in double-double Bright Akhuetie had 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Juan Gomez de Liaño almost had triple double after having 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists.
Brandrey Bienes had his career high 14 points for FEU, Barkley Eboña added 13 markers, while Inno Comboy added 12 points, Hubert Cani added 11 points, and wrapping the scorers in double digit for FEU are Axel Iñigo and Richard Escoto both added 10 points

The Ateneo Blue Eagles beats down the UE Red Warriors in another 20 point victory 90-70.
Angelo Kouame led the Blue shirts with 18 points and 16 rebounds, Tyler Tio added 16 points, Raffy Verano had 14 points, Thirdy Ravena and Jolo Mendoza both added 10 points.
Alvin Pasaol had 29 points and 14 rebounds, Philip Manalang added 18 points.
