The UST growling tigers bounced back from their opening game lost to NU over the weekend after they sneaked past the FEU tamaraws 76-74.
The Tamaraws had a slight advantage in the opening period with a 17-15 lead, but going to the next quarters the Tamaraws struggled as UST took over the lead, in the final period FEU tried to make a comeback but failed to capitalized as the Tigers were able to fend off their run to capped off the win.
Renzo Subido led ust with 18 points, Marvin Lee added 13 points, Joshua Marcos had 12 points, while Steve Akomo had 10 markers.
Prince Orizu had a season high performance of 25 points and 15 rebounds, Hubert Cani had 15 points, while Richard Escoto added 13 points.

Thirdy Ravena led the Blue Shirts in winning the battle of Katipunan after producing 17 points and 11 rebounds, Anton Asistio added 16 points, Kakou Kouame and Matt Nieto added 14 and 12 points respectively.
Aside from Juan Gomez De Liano, Paul Desiderio added 15 points for UP in this game.
