Review: Love Me Tomorrow

Love Me Tomorrow tackles the struggles of people suffering Quarter Life and Mid Life Crisis. It defines when will maturity comes in the sense of the youth and when will an individual stop growing as a person.

The story revolves around three main character, JC(Pascual), Janine(Garcia), and Christy(Zulueta).

JC is a happy go lucky DJ, his life revolves, depends and devoted to his passion which is music. His insecurities pulls him down as he let his ego control him.

Janine is a fashion blogger, her life revolves in partying, fashion, and living the life of a millennial, she forgot that there is more life has to offer for her more than the superficial things she has.

Christy is a widowed fashion designer and a mother of two millennials, she was so devoted to her family that she forgot how to grow as person and as a designer. Later she discovered that being a mother and her age are not hindrance to become successful in her passion.

For the fourth time, Star Cinema didn't failed to deliver another great experimental team up from Angel-Xian, Arci-Gerald, and Jennylyn-JLC, the team up of Dawn-Piolo undeniably was a success the chemistry was there and they actually gave me "Kilig" in their scenes.

At 47 I didn't expected a Dawn Zulueta to do some sexy scenes in this movie, I think she was the one who really stands out in this movie, specially her quotable quotes and memorable scenes that you should see. Piolo was so yummy in this movie haha JK, I saw Iñigo Pascual in Papa P's character in the movie young, aspirited, and free. Coleen again delivers well in this movie, I guess working with Direk Gino for the 3rd time they both already know what they want to show in the movie.

I think Maxene and Barbie needs improvement when it comes to giving out emotions and delivery of lines, they got big scenes in the movie, but they weren't able to deliver that well I guess.

I really love the character of Carmi Martin, of all the support cast members she is the most memorable. :)

The movie got nice locations especially the bars and the beach. The cinematography was really good, it was well executed especially the scenes in the beach and the Fashion Show. I just find it off that of all the beautiful locations they got in the movie, the condo scnes ended up in a very familiar hallway.

Direk Gino also used a very familiar symbolism in the movie, the Dog. It qas very familiar to me because Direk Joyce Bernal also used a dog in Everything About Her to represent the character of the mother of Angel Locsin in the movie, this time Direk Gino used the dog to represent the character of Piolo and the love of Dawn for the character of Piolo.

Over all I rated this movie an 8/10. There are flaws, but all in all it was a good movie, I guess I could say that this one is another good Rom-Com movie on the caliber of Direk Gino Santos, actually this one  will also pass as a post mother's day offering lf Star Cinema.

PS: If you are a fan of Dawn and Piolo you will love the ending ;)
