Finally after more than 40 years of waiting, the Philippines finally takes home the most coveted Miss Universe Crown awhile ago with Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was crowned as the Miss Universe 2015 at the Axis Theater, Planet Hollywood Las Vegas, Wurtzbach bested 79 other lovely candidates including Miss Colombia who was mistakenly announced as the winner, it was a major blunder and a first in the history of Miss Universe. Miss USA placed 2nd runner up while Australia and France barged in to the top 5. Wurtzbach was also the fan favorite in the swimsuit, evening gown and question and answer portion.
