The Generals were still leading at the end of the first quarter at 17-16, but the raging Stags made a huge surge in the second quarter, outscoring EAC 35-18 to take a 51-35 lead at the end of the first half.
The hapless Generals weren't able to bounce back in the game as they were completely dominated by San Sebastian, led by Jamil Ortuoste with 24 points, adding to that is Spencer Pretta's breakout game producing a career high 19 points for the stags to get their fourth win after fourteen games,
Meanwhile, even with Munsayac and Hamadou combining 41 points for EAC, it wasn't enough for them to get a win as they slide down to 2-12 record.

In the second game the San Beda Red Lions regains the share of the top spot after defeating the Lyceum Pirates 87-80
The first quarter started close between the two teams ending it at 17-15, but in the second quarter San Beda pulled away outscoring Lyceum to end the first half at 49-31, at the second half, the Pirates tried to get close with San Beda as they trimmed down the lead to just 9 at the end of the third at 67-58,
Art Dela Cruz again led the offense for the Red Lions in this victory as he produced 25 points, adding to that is Radge Tongco's 14 points, meanwhile Wilson Baltazar and Joseph Gabayni scored 28 and 24 points respectively for the Lyceum in losing efforts.
