A Miss World, A Miss International, and A Miss Supranational in just One Year That was the Story of Philippine Pageantry this Year.

In September 7, Mutya Johanna Datul bagged the 1st ever Miss Supranational Crown for the Philippines, the Native of Santa Maria, Isabela, Stands 5 foot 8 inches tall bested 82 other contestant, the 21 year old Pinay Beauty is also the First Asian to bagged the Crown in the Miss Supranational 2013 held in Minsk, Belarus. The second crown for the Philippines was from The Miss World 2013

After almost 62 years of waiting This year the First Ever Pinay Miss World was crowned, Megan Lynne Young from Olongapo City, The 23 year old 5 foot 8 Actress, Model, VJ and TV Host bested 129 other candidates in the Miss World 2013 held last September 28 in Bali, Indonesia.

Megan also won the Top Model event in the pageant placeing in the Top 10 in 2 other Competition and was chosen as Continental Queen of Beauty-Asia. Indeed Megan is really a Front Runner in the Miss World pageant This Year.

The Third Crown of the Philippines this Year is from the Miss International 2013 pageant held in Tokyo, Japan last December 17,  Bea bested 66 other candidates to bag the 5th Miss International Crown for the Philippines. One of the factor Why Bea won in the Pageant was because of her Heartfelt Speech/Answer on the Question "What I would do If I Become Miss International". Bea's 30 second Heartwarming Answer saying Thank you to all the Countries that helped our country when the Typhoon Yolanda devastates our Country.

 

Also Adding to these 3 Crowns are 3 3rd Runner Up finish of other Miss Philippines, Starting with the Miss Universe 2013 Pageant held in Moscow, Russia the Pageant was Held the Day After typhoon Yolanda Struck the Philippines, Ariella Arida continues the Winning Streak of the Philippines in the Miss Universe making it a 4 peat, Ariella is the Only Asian in the pack of Latinas, Miss Venezuela Gabriella Isler won the Crown,

In November 19, Annalie Forbes placed 3rd Runner Up in the Miss Grand International 2013 held in Bangkok, Thailand, Where Miss Puerto Rico Janelee Chaparro won the 1st ever crown of Miss Grand International.

The 3rd is from the Miss Intercontinental 2013 in Madgeburg, Germany, Last December 14, where Koreen Medina finished 3rd Runner Up, Miss Russia Ekaterina Plehova won the Crown




Miss Philippines Cindy Miranda though she Failed to place in the Top 5 she manages to place in the Top 10 of Miss Tourism Queen International 2013 held in Xianning, China, Last October 3, Miss Latvia Alisa Miskovska bagged the 8th crown of Miss Tourism Queen International

Miss Philippines Earth Angelee Delos Reyes also wasn't able to place in the top 5 of Miss Earth 2013, Held last December 7 at Muntinlupa City, Philippines.

In Mister International 2013 Mr. Philippines Gil Wagas finished 4th Runner Up the Highest place of a Filipino in the said pageant, It was Held last November 21 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

This year was a Grandslam year for the Philippines in the Pageant industry Winning 3 Crowns, and Runners Up, Indeed this year is the Golden Year for the Philippine Pageantry. Hoping that Next Year will be another Grandslam.
