Manila’s Pride: Lloyd Garcia Wins Mister International Philippines 2025 Title
The 4th Mister International Philippines has finally wrapped up and crowned as it's 2025 King is Model and Artist, Lloyd Garcia.
26-year-old Lloyd bested 36 other candidates in the preliminary competition held in Morong, Bataan and at the grand coronation night held at the Novotel Araneta City last July 20. He will be competing in the Mister International 2025 pageant this coming November here in Manila.
Placing as Mister National Universe are Las Pinas City's Simon Javier and Lucena City's John Paulo Dela Cruz, the duo will be competing in Thailand, June 2025. Meanwhile, Metro Clark's Jose Carlos Paras was crowned as Mister Model International Philippines.
Fil Com of USA's Larz Kent Dawson was crowned as Mister Earth International Philippines, while returnee Marlo Martin of Bulacan finally snagged a crown as he bagged the Man Hot Star Philippines crown. Surigao Del Norte's Rash Morales meanwhile will be representing the Philippines in the Mister Charm pageant.
Wrapping up the winner's circle are Davao City's John Steven Pestana who was named as Mister International Philippines Ambassador, Isabela's Adrian Ayala was named as Mister International Philippines Charity, Fil Com KSA's Aneceto Guillena was named as MIPH Tourism, and Justine Pontejos of Batangas was named as Mister International Philippines Heritage.

Korean actor Lee Jae Wook is making his much-awaited return to the Philippines for his 2025 LEE JAE WOOK ASIA FAN MEETING TOUR pro'log' in Manila! Set to take place on September 20 (Saturday) 6PM at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. Presented by Wilbros Live.
This marks the Korean actor's second time in Manila, after his sold-out 2023 fan meeting, where he won over hearts with his genuine charm and sweet interactions with fans. Earlier this year, he took on a more challenging role in the Netflix drama Dear Hongrang, playing a mysterious figure who shows up claiming to be the long-lost son of a wealthy family. He’s also set to star in the upcoming drama Last Summer, which fans are already looking forward to. Outside of acting, Lee is currently showing a lighter, more playful side on tvN’s variety show Fresh off the Sea 2, where he’s charming viewers as the lovable youngest cast member.

A New Era in Philippine Cinema Begins: First 4 Official Entries for 51st MMFF Unveiled
A new era in Philippine cinema has officially begun as the first four films of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) were formally announced during a grand launch held at a mall in Makati City today, July 8.
The launch event was nothing short of spectacular. Hosted by Enchong Dee and Kaladkaren, the celebration was further energized by lively performances from PBB Collab housemates Klarisse De Guzman, Ralph De Leon, Esnyr, River Joseph, and Brent Manalo
The first official entry to be announced was Call Me Mother, starring Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre. The film is a collaboration between ABS-CBN Film Productions, Viva Films, and The IdeaFirst Company, and is set to be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jun Robles Lana.
Next in line was Reconnect from Reality Studios, featuring a powerhouse cast led by Gerald Anderson, Carmina Villarroel, Zoren Legaspi, Alexa Miro, and Miss Gloria Diaz. The film will be helmed by director Jade Castro.
The third film features Piolo Pascual in a historical drama set during the First Quarter Storm of the 1970s. Produced by Cignal TV Inc., the film will be directed by Ray Red.
Finally, after failing to secure a spot in MMFF 49, Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origin—Regal Entertainment Inc.’s iconic horror anthology is set to make a massive comeback for MMFF 51. This highly anticipated three-part film will feature a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Francine Diaz, Janice De Belen, Manilyn Reynes, Ivana Alawi, Loisa Andalio, Ashley Ortega, Ysabel Ortega, Carla Abellana, Elijah Alejo, Fyang Smith, Kaila Estrada, Richard Gutierrez, Ryan Bang, Seth Fedelin, JM Ibarra, and Dustin Yu.
The three segments of the horror trilogy will be directed by Shugo Praico, Joey de Guzman, and Ian Lorenos.
The MMFF executive committee also announced the calendar of events of this year's film festival, with the next four movies set to be announced on September 30, a Mediacon set for October 30, the Parade of Stars happening in Makati City on December 19, and the Gabi Ng Parangal on the 27th of December.

Miss Grand Philippines 2025 is Officially On! Meet the 29 Stunning Candidates Who Will Compete for the Crown!
The search for the next queen who will be representing the Philippines at the Miss Grand International stage has officially begun! After weeks of anticipation, the Miss Grand Philippines Organization finally unveiled the 29 official candidates who will vie for the coveted title of Miss Grand Philippines 2025.
In a press presentation and sashing ceremony held in a hotel in Paranaque City, the official candidates showed off early in their swimwear and was their wit was tested in the interview with the press portion of the event.
Leading the pack of this year's pageant is former Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2019 and TV Host Emma Mary Tiglao of Pampanga, a surprise addition to the list, Emma is all set to snag the Miss Grand Philippines crown.
Aside from Emma, among the standouts in the press presentation were other pageant veterans such as Michelle Arceo of Taguig, Shannon Tampon of Bulacan, Nikki Buenafe of Quezon City, Bea Mcleland of Aklan, and of course the crowd favorite, Anita Rose Gomez of Zambales.
Stand outs among the newbies were Bea Ocampo of Rizal, Bea Sumulong of Batangas, and Laguna's Irish Anne Parto.
These empowered and beautiful women from across the country are ready to showcase not only their beauty and charisma, but also their intelligence, advocacy, and passion to bring home the gold crown. Over the next few weeks, they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities, challenges, and public appearances leading up to the much-awaited coronation night.
Who among these 29 remarkable candidates will shine the brightest and earn the right to raise the Philippine flag on the international stage? Crowns at stake are Miss Grand Philippines, Reina Hispano Filipinas, Face of Beauty Philippines, and the newly added Miss Asia Pacific International title.

Alex Warren Teams Up with ROSÉ for New Single "On My Mind"
Today, singer-songwriter Alex Warren teams up with global icon ROSÉ to release their highly anticipated collaboration, “On My Mind” - listen here. The song was announced as a surprise track on Warren’s upcoming album You’ll Be Alright, Kid, due out July 18th, pre-order here. Warren started teasing the potential ROSÉ collab on his socials a few weeks ago, and fans have been anxiously awaiting the release ever since.

Alongside “On My Mind,” Alex’s new album You’ll Be Alright, Kid will feature all the songs on You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter 1), released last fall, and 11 entirely new tracks. Krishnah Gravidez Finds Her ‘Rainbow’ After Miss World
Embarking on a new beginning.
After finishing her Miss World journey, Miss World Asia 2025 Krishnah Marie Gravidez is now set to embark on a new chapter. From pageantry to music, Krishnah is making a bold shift a move she admits a huge change, but singing has always been a lofelong passion and a form of expression for this 24-year-old lass from the north.
Now signed under Universal Records, Krishnah recently released her debut single, her own rendition of the hit South Border song "Rainbow". Her version is leans into the R&B Genre, which she feels best suits her vocal style.
Why "Rainbow? The song was released in time for the Miss World coronation, and just like how a rainbow appears after the rain, Krishnah sees the song as a symbol of hope and a fitting conclusion to her pageant journey.
While many still believe that Krishnah could still join another pageant, arguing she's young and capable of representing the Philippines once again, Krishnah is choosing to explore other paths. She expressed gratitude to Arnold L. Vegafria for opening doors for more opportunities beyond pageantry, she also added that she wants to show case that Beauty Queens aren't just all beauty and glam, they also can do other stuff such as acting and singing. For now, Krishnah said she would love to mentor pageant girls as well, share the knowledge she gained throughout her pageant journey.
For now Krishnah is beyond happy and grateful for all the opportunities she's having and she will try to explore this new industry she's venturing on.
By the way, the song 'Rainbow' is out now on different streaming platforms under Universal Records, Krishnah is also set to release an original song for her second single in the coming weeks and also they are planning to release a music video for the song 'Rainbow' as well.
