Babyface Concert Moved to October 27, Ticket Selling to Resume on July 21.

 

BABYFACE CONCERT MOVED TO OCTOBER 27, TICKET SELLING TO RESUME ON JULY 21  



The new date of Babyface in Manila has been officially rescheduled to 27 October 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Tickets for the long-awaited return of Babyface to Manila will resume selling at SM Ticket outlets and smtickets.com on 12NN this July 21. Originally scheduled for this July, the date for the Manila stop was changed following the adjustments for Babyface’s Southeast Asian stops of the tour. 
Babyface is a 13-time GRAMMY Award-winning recording artist, songwriter, and the only producer to win the ‘Producer of the Year’ category four times, three times of which were in consecutive years (1995-1997); a record he holds to this day. Kenny is also co-founder of the legendary record label LaFace, which launched the careers of artists like Usher, Toni Braxton, TLC, Outkast, and P!nk. 
This iconic artist is one of the most celebrated forces in music history, having written and produced hits for artists like Bobby Brown, Boyz II Men, Eric Clapton, Madonna, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Mary J Blige, Celine Dion, Aretha Franklin, George Michael, Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber, Phil Collins, Janet Jackson, NSYNC, Chaka Khan, Faith Evans, Stevie Wonder, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Michael Bolton, Kenny G, Lil Wayne, Luther Vandross, Barba Streisand, and countless others. 
Babyface is a prominent personality in the R&B scene with his 13th GRAMMY win for Best R&B song for “Snooze” by SZA and nominations for two other categories: Best R&B Album (Girls Night Out) and Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Simple” by Babyface & Coco Jones off his Girls Night Out album).

A New Era in Philippine Cinema Begins: First 4 Official Entries for 51st MMFF Unveiled

 A new era in Philippine cinema has officially begun as the first four films of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) were formally announced during a grand launch held at a mall in Makati City today, July 8.

The launch event was nothing short of spectacular. Hosted by Enchong Dee and Kaladkaren, the celebration was further energized by lively performances from PBB Collab housemates Klarisse De Guzman, Ralph De Leon, Esnyr, River Joseph, and Brent Manalo




The first official entry to be announced was Call Me Mother, starring Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre. The film is a collaboration between ABS-CBN Film Productions, Viva Films, and The IdeaFirst Company, and is set to be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jun Robles Lana.

Next in line was Reconnect from Reality Studios, featuring a powerhouse cast led by Gerald Anderson, Carmina Villarroel, Zoren Legaspi, Alexa Miro, and Miss Gloria Diaz. The film will be helmed by director Jade Castro.

The third film features Piolo Pascual in a historical drama set during the First Quarter Storm of the 1970s. Produced by Cignal TV Inc., the film will be directed by Ray Red.

Finally, after failing to secure a spot in MMFF 49, Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origin—Regal Entertainment Inc.’s iconic horror anthology is set to make a massive comeback for MMFF 51. This highly anticipated three-part film will feature a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Francine Diaz, Janice De Belen, Manilyn Reynes, Ivana Alawi, Loisa Andalio, Ashley Ortega, Ysabel Ortega, Carla Abellana, Elijah Alejo, Fyang Smith, Kaila Estrada, Richard Gutierrez, Ryan Bang, Seth Fedelin, JM Ibarra, and Dustin Yu.

The three segments of the horror trilogy will be directed by Shugo Praico, Joey de Guzman, and Ian Lorenos.

The MMFF executive committee also announced the calendar of events of this year's film festival, with the next four movies set to be announced on September 30, a Mediacon set for October 30, the Parade of Stars happening in Makati City on December 19, and the Gabi Ng Parangal on the 27th of December.

Miss Grand Philippines 2025 is Officially On! Meet the 29 Stunning Candidates Who Will Compete for the Crown!

 


The search for the next queen who will be representing the Philippines at the Miss Grand International stage has officially begun! After weeks of anticipation, the Miss Grand Philippines Organization finally unveiled the 29 official candidates who will vie for the coveted title of Miss Grand Philippines 2025.

In a press presentation and sashing ceremony held in a hotel in Paranaque City, the official candidates showed off early in their swimwear and was their wit was tested in the interview with the press portion of the event. 

Leading the pack of this year's pageant is former Miss Intercontinental Philippines 2019 and TV Host Emma Mary Tiglao of Pampanga, a surprise addition to the list, Emma is all set to snag the Miss Grand Philippines crown. 

Aside from Emma, among the standouts in the press presentation were other pageant veterans such as Michelle Arceo of Taguig, Shannon Tampon of Bulacan, Nikki Buenafe of Quezon City, Bea Mcleland of Aklan, and of course the crowd favorite, Anita Rose Gomez of Zambales. 

Stand outs among the newbies were Bea Ocampo of Rizal, Bea Sumulong of Batangas, and Laguna's Irish Anne Parto.  

These empowered and beautiful women from across the country are ready to showcase not only their beauty and charisma, but also their intelligence, advocacy, and passion to bring home the gold crown. Over the next few weeks, they will go through a series of pre-pageant activities, challenges, and public appearances leading up to the much-awaited coronation night.

Who among these 29 remarkable candidates will shine the brightest and earn the right to raise the Philippine flag on the international stage? Crowns at stake are Miss Grand Philippines, Reina Hispano Filipinas, Face of Beauty Philippines, and the newly added Miss Asia Pacific International title.

Krishnah Gravidez Finds Her ‘Rainbow’ After Miss World

 Embarking on a new beginning. 

After finishing her Miss World journey, Miss World Asia 2025 Krishnah Marie Gravidez is now set to embark on a new chapter. From pageantry to music, Krishnah is making a bold shift a move she admits a huge change, but singing has always been a lofelong passion and a form of expression for this 24-year-old lass from the north. 

Now signed under Universal Records, Krishnah recently released her debut single, her own rendition of the hit South Border song "Rainbow". Her version is leans into the R&B Genre, which she feels best suits her vocal style. 

Why "Rainbow? The song was released in time for the Miss World coronation, and just like how a rainbow appears after the rain, Krishnah sees the song as a symbol of hope and a fitting conclusion to her pageant journey. 

While many still believe that Krishnah could still join another pageant, arguing she's young and capable of representing the Philippines once again, Krishnah is choosing to explore other paths. She expressed gratitude to Arnold L. Vegafria for opening doors for more opportunities beyond pageantry, she also added that she wants to show case that Beauty Queens aren't just all beauty and glam, they also can do other stuff such as acting and singing. For now, Krishnah said she would love to mentor pageant girls as well, share the knowledge she gained throughout her pageant journey. 

For now Krishnah is beyond happy and grateful for all the opportunities she's having and she will try to explore this new industry she's venturing on. 

By the way, the song 'Rainbow' is out now on different streaming platforms under Universal Records, Krishnah is also set to release an original song for her second single in the coming weeks and also they are planning to release a music video for the song 'Rainbow' as well.

The Beauty Empire Grand Media Con last June 17 was a star-studded affair. Apart from its stars Barbie Forteza, Kyline Alcantara, and Sam Concepcion, Korean star Choi Bo Min also attended the event.


Dressed to impress, Bomin looked dashing in a suit designed by the renowned Filipino fashion designer, Francis Libiran. His stylish ensemble perfectly complemented his charismatic presence, capturing the attention of fans and media alike.


Beauty Empire, which tells the story of the cutthroat beauty industry, is currently streaming on Viu and is set to premiere on GMA Prime on July 7. The series is getting a lot of attention, particularly after the release of its second episode, which showcased the undeniable chemistry of its stars. This August 6, Rhian Ramos and JC Santos will be playing the roles of Meg and Ryan in a film by Catherine O. Camarillo, written by Gina Marissa Tagasa, and produced by Pocket Media Productions.  

Meg and Ryan, two strangers that crossed paths on one fateful night, a seemingly innocent wager pulls them into each other’s orbit, setting off a chain of moments that neither time nor reason can explain.

In a world where timing is everything and love is often the last thing we plan for, this is a story of a chance encounter, a spark ignited, and the possibilities that arise when two opposites meet under the most unpredictable of circumstances.

This July 30, Zanjoe Marudo returns from his showbiz hiatus as he stars in the movie produced by OgieD Productions and KreativDen Entertainment called 'How to Get Away from My Toxic Family'. 

"How to Get Away from My Toxic Family" follows the emotional journey of Arsenio, or Ar (Zanjoe Marudo), an OFW based in Dubai who, despite not being the eldest, has unwillingly taken on the role of breadwinner and emotional anchor for his struggling family. As the middle child, Ar shoulders responsibilities far beyond his share — solving problems, sending money, and holding the family together from miles away.

After nearly five years abroad, Ar returns home only to face a harsh reality: the family he worked so hard to support is crumbling. Their home is on the verge of foreclosure, his older brother has spiraled into alcoholism, and worst of all, his mother questions his intentions and sacrifices.

Torn between love, obligation, and self-preservation, Ar must confront the painful truth: sometimes, walking away is the only path to healing. But can he truly let go of the people he once believed he had to save?
