To share his story and to gain more experience, that's the reason why Kenneth joined Misters of Filipinas. Ken considers the Q&A part of pageants as his favorite, he admits that he loves to talk and indeed I myself can say that he is one of the best speakers in this batch, although he still thinks that he still needs to improve his pasarela or the way he walk and project on stage as considers it as his weak points.

Confidence, that's the best thing that a Misters of Filipinas should have according to Ken, a Mister should believe first in himself, he should be confident enough to stand by what he says, his advocacy, and for him to be able to influence and inspire many people that he will meet along the way.

Body Talk

Ken believes that in order to take care of our body it should always be 70% diet and 30% exercise, he believes that having a good diet is the most important thing it is the food that we take that matters the most, exercise and work outs are secondary to support and to make our body more fit.

Before pandemic Ken goes to the gym six times a week, he's got a day allotted for his chest, back, abs, and legs work out to make them balanced and to achieve his goal of an athletic to lean build. When it comes to food his diet is consist of high protein and low card diet, but on Sunday's he still indulge himself to sinful foods to keep him sane in the midst of his bland diet.

He considers his eyes as his best asset, meanwhile the part of his body that he wants to improve more is his mind, he still want to learn more and he is hungry for more knowledge that's why he kinda consider it as his area to focus more on.

TECNO Mobile Donates Cash and Smartphones to Local Community Heroes

Premium smartphone brand, TECNO Mobile recently completed its first CSR campaign in the Philippines, as a way to give back to the community following the successful release of several new mobile phone models in the country, including the Spark 7 Series, Pova 2 gaming phone, and most recently, the CAMON 17 Series. Through this show of support for the community, TECNO Mobile has become part of the nation’s journey in rising up from life’s challenges, and learning to see the best in every situation. At the same time, the selection of local heroes as beneficiaries for this campaign aligns perfectly with the reel- and real-life heroism of TECNO Mobile’s CAMON 17 brand ambassador, actor Chris Evans.

Three partner beneficiaries representing different pillars of the community were the recipients of donations made by TECNO Mobile for this CSR campaign - Ina ng Lupang Pangako Parish, Project Malasakit, and the City of Manila through the Office of Mayor Isko Moreno. Separate handover ceremonies were held for each of the beneficiaries, the first of which was held on July 13th, at the Ina ng Lupang Pangako Parish Area.

In the middle of Bgy. Payatas, an area deemed a hazardous place to live due to its proximity to an open area for solid waste disposal, you will find the Ina ng Lupang Pangako Parish. This church’s leaders and volunteers provide educational and livelihood opportunities for the urban poor community living in Payatas, funded by donations from different entities. For its own CSR campaign, TECNO Mobile, represented by TECNO Mobile Limited’s Brand Marketing Director for Philippines, Jason Liang, donated Php 100,000 to the parish, along with 10 smartphones to be shared with hardworking parish volunteers, who tirelessly organize and facilitate activities such as community pantries, counseling, webinars, and online masses. The donations were received by Rev. Fr. Peter Hequillan,CM.

Project Malasakit is a scholarship program whose mission is to bridge the gap between Filipinos who want to help, and Filipino children who need the assistance. Its goal is to provide these children with proper education, enabling them to change their own lives for a better future. 30 TECNO Mobile smartphones, plus Php 100,000 were given to Project Malasakit by TECNO Mobile Limited’s Brand Marketing Director for Philippines, Jason Liang, graciously received by its founder, Kara David, together with two of her scholars, Lilian Ambrocio and Mauwe Liwanag .

For these community heroes, TECNO Mobile has donated 50 smartphones, and Php 200,000 through the mayor’s office. The donation was handed over by the TECNO Mobile Limited executives for the Philippines, headed by Lindsay Guan, CEO, and received by Manila City Mayor, Isko Moreno.

Body Talk

During this pandemic, Felix admits that he quite let go of himself to the point that he really went out of shape and his weight reached 90kgs, but joining Misters he was able to redeem himself back as he immediately shredded of those extra weight and go down to 77kgs.

He said that being a Tae Kwon Do jin since high school, losing weight is not new to him as they were required in their sport to have that definite weight classification that requires them either to lose or gain weight to be able to compete.

But for him the best way to control the weight aside from exercise is really the right diet, he went on a low carb and high protein diet. For his work out since most of the gyms are closed he opts to get alternative home work out routines and even equipment for him to use.

Being a chef, cooking good food and indulging on it is not that difficult for him, he said that if he eats too much he needs to burn them off immediately, there's no time to be lazy for him it's all about discipline.
