Ang Sulit.Com.Ph, ay OLX.PH na!

If you are into online Buy and Selling, You probably have an Account or you browsed through in the #1 Buy and Selling site in the Philippines which is the Sulit.com.ph, I was surprised last Wednesday, March 19. when I typed in to my web browser the sulit.com.ph URL I was redirected to OLX.PH, The reason behind this was that according to Sulit Founder RJ David is that Sulit.com.ph is now a part of the OLX Group that's why as part of OLX they're required to rebrand their name from Sulit.com.ph to Olx.ph. 

So first what is OLX, OLX or Online Exchange is an internet company based in Argentina and New York it hosts classified advertisements online same as what sulit does. Sulit.com.ph was established 2006 as an experimental buy and sell website to test what specific category is popular among their members and web users, Sulit caters Buy and Sell, Real Estate, Cars and Automotive, Business Product and Services, Jobs, Business and Earning Opportunities, Personal and Business Locators, Events Announcement and even it's own Forum Site.   

With this Merger/Rebranding will OLX maintain what Sulit achieved in the past years?, or will other online selling sites like AyosDito.ph, AtHomeKa.com, JuanTambayan.com takes the advantage of sulit's new name 

and image to introduce their own. 

I myself believed that renaming Sulit to OLX is a not so good idea, Filipino's are known for their brand loyalty and I think with this OLX will start to scratch again in promoting their website again since sulit established and strengthened their brand recall via the tagline "Hanap, Usap, Deal" that they used in their Ad Campaigns.
