It has been a good year for Pinays in all of the Major Beauty Pageants, From Miss Universe where Shamcey Supsup placed 3rd, Miss International where Dianne Necio won the People Choice Award, and Miss World where Gwendolyn Ruais Placed 2nd princess. and awhile ago Athena Imperial got the Miss Earth-Water title in the Miss Earth.

This is the most successful year it has been a grand slam for the Philippines making it to the 4 major Beauty pageant.
