The Chinese-Filipino community has found its newest ambassadors of goodwill as Tyrone Tan of Davao City and Maria Yza Thalia Uy of the 1st District of Quezon City were crowned Mister and Miss Chinatown Philippines 2025, respectively.

Held over the weekend, this year’s pageant once again celebrated the rich fusion of Filipino and Chinese heritage, shining a spotlight on beauty, intelligence, and cultural pride.

Tyrone emerged victorious after besting 13 other candidates, including strong contenders Kobe Zhang Chan, who finished as first runner-up, and Naia Ching, who claimed the second runner-up position. Meanwhile, Yza captivated the judges and audience alike with her poise and eloquence, particularly during the Q&A segment, where she shared her insightful views on the value of frugality within the Chinoy community.

With their new titles, Tyrone and Yza are set to serve as ambassadors of goodwill, representing the modern Chinoy youth and championing unity, culture, and empowerment within the Chinese-Filipino community.

For the gentlemen, the spotlight shines on Mister Chinatown Philippines 2025, where 14 outstanding candidates from across the country will compete for the honor of becoming the next ambassador of goodwill for the Chinoy youth.
