While the first installment centered on the innocence and intensity of first love during high school, The Day I Loved You, Two takes a more mature turn as it explores the college life of Eli, once again portrayed by Raynold Tan. Now older and more emotionally grounded, Eli is learning how to move forward from the love that once defined his youth.

The sequel introduces Rev, played by Raven Rigor, a new and significant presence in Eli’s life. As Eli navigates new beginnings, Rev becomes part of a journey filled with healing, rediscovery, and the possibility of love after heartbreak. Their connection reflects a more complex stage of romance—one shaped by past experiences, unspoken emotions, and personal growth.

Directed by Easy Ferrer, the series expands its world with a strong supporting cast that includes Angelica Lao, Jake Lawrence, Kaleb Ong, Gabo Barretto, and Jazil Sarinas. Together, they help paint a fuller picture of college life and the evolving relationships within it.

A Grander Year: Ginoo at Binibining Rizal 2026 Opens Applications

 

Rizal Province, Philippines — Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, Ginoo at Binibining Rizal officially ushers in 2026 with the launch of its second edition, opening applications for aspiring Rizaleños who aim to represent the province on the national pageant stage.

The Ginoo at Binibining Rizal Organization formally opened the online application period last December 28, which will run until January 21.

The competition is open to aspirants who currently reside in or can trace their roots to the Province of Rizal, aged 18 to 27 years old, single, and who meet the height requirements of at least 5’5” for females and 5’8” for males.

This year’s edition promises to be even grander, as the organization announced a significant increase in prizes—raising the stakes while further strengthening its advocacy-driven platform. The Grand Winners of Ginoo at Binibining Rizal 2026 will each receive ₱100,000 in cash, along with additional prizes and opportunities from partner organizations.

The pageant continues to build on its credibility following a successful first year. Bea Ocampo (Mayamot, Antipolo) and Dave Franco (Cainta)  were crowned as the inaugural Ginoo at Binibining Rizal titleholders in 2025. Bea went on to finish as Second Runner-Up at the Miss Grand Philippines 2025, while Dave is now gearing up for his much-anticipated return to the national stage this year.

Now on its second year, Ginoo at Binibining Rizal continues its mission of promoting Rizaleño pride, leadership, advocacy, and cultural identity, providing a credible platform for young Rizaleños to represent the province with purpose and excellence.

The tour launches on Friday, April 10, in Las Vegas, NV, at Allegiant Stadium and will see Mars bring his larger-than-life energy to major cities including Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Paris, Amsterdam, Milan, Denver, Miami, and more. Than Perez: Embracing Growth Beyond the Crown

A year into his reign as Mister Grand Philippines 2024, Than Perez is proving that wearing a crown is only the beginning of a much bigger journey. Hailing from Bulacan, the 24-year-old model, host, entrepreneur, and budding actor has been steadily building a name for himself beyond pageantry—embracing opportunities that reflect both his ambition and versatility.

“It’s been a year na talaga. Ang bilis ng panahon,” he shared as he reflected on life after winning the national title. While he has yet to compete on the international stage, he considers the past year a period of immense growth. New ventures and unexpected blessings have come his way, including putting up his own business, strengthening his hosting career, and officially stepping into the acting industry. For him, pageantry became a gateway rather than a limitation. “Aside from pageantry, mas marami na ’kong mga venture na napasukan, so I am really happy and more than blessed,” he said.

One of his proudest achievements outside the spotlight is CafeThan, the café business he recently launched. He explained that the concept was born out of inclusivity. He wanted a space that feels classy, cozy, and comfy, without intimidating price points. The goal was simple: to let people experience a premium café vibe without having to spend too much. Through CafeThan, he has managed to blend entrepreneurship with his desire to make quality experiences accessible to everyone.

At the same time, his presence on screen has been steadily growing. Frequently seen in Regal Studio Presents, he described acting as both exhausting and deeply fulfilling. Despite long hours on set and physical strain, he finds motivation in seeing the final output—especially knowing how proud his family and relatives are whenever they see him on television. That sense of pride, he said, is priceless and makes every sacrifice worth it. He is also set to appear in the upcoming film Hotel 88, marking another milestone in his acting journey.

Being under Regal Entertainment has further fueled his passion for challenging roles. When asked what kind of character he dreams of portraying, he did not hesitate to say he wants to play a psychopath. For him, such a role represents the ultimate test of his limits as an actor—something intense, complex, and far removed from his real-life persona.

Beyond his creative pursuits, he also carries an academic background that speaks to his discipline and adaptability. He finished college with a degree in Computer Science, a foundation that reflects his ability to balance logic and creativity—traits that now serve him well across modeling, hosting, business, and acting.

From pageant stages to television sets and business ventures, Than continues to redefine what it means to be a modern titleholder. With a clear drive to grow, explore, and push boundaries, he stands as a testament that success after the crown is not just possible—it can be even more meaningful.

1. You’ve been Mister Grand PH for quite sometime now, how's life now and how did it help you career wise. 

“It’s been a year na talaga. Ang bilis ng panahon. Still, hindi pa tayo nakakapag-compete sa international, but still ang dami ng changes, ang dami ng blessings na dumating sa buhay ko. Like I have my own business na, my career in hosting is okay na, and also napapasok ko na yung acting industry. So aside from pageantry, mas marami na ’kong mga venture na napasukan. So I am really happy and more than blessed talaga na nagkaroon ako ng mga ganitong klaseng opportunity sa buhay ko.”

2. You put up a cafe, how did you come up with the business and do you have any plans to expand the business? 

“Our own goal talaga is we want it to be like medyo sosyal, classy, cozy, and comfy, but yung drinks namin is hindi super mahal. So kumbaga ang concept niya is whether hindi ganun ka capable na bumili ng branded or pumunta sa mga mamahaling cafe, mae-experience pa rin nila sa CafeThan sa magkano lang na amount.” 

3. You also said a while ago that you are now venturing into acting and we’ve been seeing you frequently in Regal Studio Presents, how was the experience? 

“Of course, sobrang nakakaproud and nakakahappy kasi yung family ko, yung mga relatives ko, super happy sila kapag napapanuod nila ’ko sa TV, and that’s something na super priceless eh. Kahit na mapagod ako sa set, kahit na magkasakit ako sa set, iba pa rin talaga kapag napanuod mo na yung final output nung pinaghirapan namin, so sobrang nakakaproud talaga.”

He shared that he is also part of the upcoming movie Hotel 88.  

4. You are with Regal, if gagawa ka ng Shake Rattle and Roll episode anong episode ang gusto mo gawin. 

Actually, my dream role is like a psychopath, yung ganung character. I think it’s really challenging eh, so gusto ma-push yung limit ko. I really want to try those kind of characters talaga.
