After 10 days of intense competition in the 30th South East Asian Games, team Philippines has emerged as the overall champions after garnering a total of 387 medals composed of 149 Gold, 117 Silver, and 121 Bronze medals, the last time the Philippines gets the hold of that overall Championship was way back 2005 when we also hosted the 23rd SEA Games here in Manila.
Some notable wins of the Philippines in the 30th SEA Games were the golden sweep of our Basketball team in all of the Basketball events from Men's and Women's 3x3 and 5x5, also in Wushu, Arnis, Dance Sport, Gymnastics, Athletics, Boxing, Wrestling and Tennis.
Placing second in the overall medal tally is Vietnam with 288 medals composed of 98 Golds, 85 Silvers, and 105 Bronze. Hanoi is set to host the next South East Asian Games in 2021.
