The inaugural edition of the Mister International Philippines is happening tomorrow night at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila and just like what we always do in every pageant that we cover we are doing a hot pick based on the performance of the 33 men vying for the crown for the past month including the preliminaries that happened last June 23 at the Winford Hotel.
In this hot picks we are naming our Top 5 bets to win the Mister International Philippines crown and the Mister Global Philippines title.
Mico Angelo Teng, Davao City.
Mico just represented the Philippines in the Mister Global pageant a few weeks ago, although he went unplaced in that pageant I still think Mico is one of the top contender for the Mister International crown, with his towering height, buff physique, and good looks definitely Mico Teng is one to watch out for in the coronation night.
Michael Ver Anton Comaling, Leyte
Another pageant veteran, Michael Ver is one of the favorites to win the crown this year.
That very pinoy look, mega watt smile, well toned body, and a very much pleasing personality Michael is definitely the one to beat in this competition.
Adding to that is his experience in joining an international pageant, even though he wasn’t able to compete physically in his last pageant he still made sure that his presence will be felt in the competition as he was still able to finish that pageant in the Top 10.
That only showed how flexible and ready for everything Michael Ver is.
Ernest John Tanting, Cebu City
A pageant newbie, Ernest John Tan Ting crossed over from Basketball to Pageantry, in one of his interview he said that he just wanted to take every opportunity for him to try something new and joining pageant is one of those that he wanted to try.
And indeed, this former basketball player from Ateneo de Cebu and now a sophomore Physical Therapy student in Velez College is one of the eye catchers in this pageant, having that “Oppa” look and a towering height, this soft spoken chinito head turner is definitely one to watch out for in this competition.
Andre John Cue, Cagayan De Oro City
At 19, Andre John Cue is the youngest among the 33 candidates in this competition. Being the youngest and having 0 experience in any pageant wasn’t a problem for this pageant neophyte as Andre became an early favorite amongst the people from the media and also the fans, he’s got the loudest cheers in the audience and well if there’s a darling of the crowd he would definitely win it.
Young, fresh faced, and most of all he’s got that well chiseled body to die for, the crown is already within reach for Andre.
Myron Jude Ordillano, Parañaque City.
This guy came to the battle prepared, Myron Jude or MJ came to this pageant to win. Giving an A game in every event and even on his social media campaigns this guy really is showing every guy in the room how to win a competition.
