We are celebrating our 11th year this March and like what we did last year we are making it more special again as we give you an early summer treat as we turn our anniversary month fiery and feisty with our Guy for this month of March.
He may be a newbie in showbizness, but he is definitely one of the hottest guys in the industry today, say hello to our guy for this month, actor and model, Juan Carlos Galano, all set to spice up our 11th year!
But first, who is Juan Carlos Galano?

Juan Carlos is 24 years old, stands at 5’9” tall, and he holds a degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas, he just recently graduated and now that he has more time, he is now eager to explore the entertainment world.
He started out modeling in his early years in college, he shared that he does VTR’s on his free time because he is still focused on his studies and lucky enough on his first month of trying, he was able to land a gig for an ad campaign of a soft drink brand, from then he continues to pursue his degree and as well as doing his modeling job.
His claim to fame is that Valentine’s Day series for a fast-food chain. There he discovered that acting is a thing for him and he is willing to take it to a whole new level as he joins ALV’s talent management that opens more doors for him.

He recently became part of the MMFF 2021 movie Nelia, where he earned praises from the press for his performance and it motivates him to get better on his craft and Juan Carlos hopes that he’ll make it big in the industry and to become a leading man is his goal.
Why not? Juan Carlos got the looks, he has that charm, and as well as the talent to become one of the future leading men in the country.
Anyway, 2022 will be an exciting year for Juan Carlos, as he is set to star with Derrick Monasterio, Cassie Banks, and Alexa Miro in a movie entitle “Cheat Day” under Jose Javier Reyes from Regal Films, they just wrapped up their shoot and this one is coming soon, he is also having some projects in line on TV and we are excited to see more of him on screen again.

Any expectations prior to joining showbizness?
“Honestly wala akong expectations it was really blank, sobrang laki ng industry na to and parang there are so many opportunities, maraming pwedeng mangyare and ako ayoko lang na bigyan ako ng masyadong malaking hope na ‘Eto yung mararating ko agad’, kung ano yung dumating tatangapin ko agad, basta any blessing. Siguro I would hope na I would make it big here.” What projects do you look forward now that you are in showbiz?
“I’m looking forward doing syempre action roles bilang active (lifestyle) nga tayo.”
“Isa sa mga pinaka iniidolo kong actor din kasi is si Jericho Rosales so yung mga roles na kumbaga syempre pang leading man, mga complicated stories, mga challenging roles of course, off beat roles tulad kunyare nawalan ng anak or tipong socially relevant ngayon sa mundo lalo na sa Pilipinas.”
“Yung mga formulaic na roles na pwede, mga pacute pacute na alam mo na, pinaka forte ko siguro, dun ako nakilala dahil dun sa kwentong jollibee eh, mga pakilig, siguro dahil malandi lang ganon hahaha.”
Looking back in 2021, how does it feel as a newbie you became part of the MMFF.
“Hindi ko ineexpect talaga na mageMMFF kami eh, kasi I was brought in the project last minute eh as in super last minute hindi naman ako naconsider for the part nung una and then bigla na lang ako sinabihan ni Tito Arnold (ALV) na “Oh magpa swab ka” ganyan tapos ibibigay sayo yung script within the day tapos kinabukasan shooting na agad” “Wala akong preparation, mabuti na lang may famiiarity ako sa medical field so hindi naman ganun ka heavy yung mga scenes ko.”
How far can you go for a role?
“Depends on the role talaga, kumbaga ngayon dun sa mga past interviews ko niloloko ko lang na sinasabi ko (kapag tinatanong) na kung kaya ko ba daw mag frontal ganun sinasabi ko “For the right price” niloloko ko lang, pero honestly speaking hindi naman ako magfofrontal, basta depende sa kung kinakailangan ba talaga yung ipapagawa para dun sa story or dun sa role mismo.
Kumbaga as a thinking actor syempre kailangan mo din isipin yung brand image ko din, kailangan ko pangalagaan yun and ano nga ba yung kinakailngan nung istorya yun yung pinaka importante, kasi were on the field of showbizness hindi naman tayo adult film industry so diba so kung yun lang ang maioffer ko edi sana nag adult film industry na lang ako hahaha
I just wanna see kung hangang saan yung pwede kong ioffer with my craft”. Who do you want to be partnered with?
“Gigi de Lana, right now as in parang sobrang fun nya lang as an actor and as a person and napanuod ko din yung jollibee serye nya ang cute nya lang umarte, yun very natural.
Tapos sila Jane de Leon, sila Ms. Heaven Peralejo, mga magagaling, mga young bloods ng indsutr, and uhm siguro sila Ms Anne Curtis for sure, and Ms Ivana Alawi hahaha." |
