Set in the city of Tacloban, after the vast devastation caused by the Super Typhoon Yolanda, the strongest storm that ever hit the Philippines back in 2013 comes the story of Kun Maupay Man It Panahon or Whether the Weather is fine.
Starring Daniel Padilla as Miguel, Rans Rifol as Andrea, and Ms. Charo Santos as Norma, join them as they fight for their lives and for their loved ones.
The movie was inspired by director Carlo Francisco Manatad's own experience when he went back to Tacloban days after Tacloban went on the receiving end of the wrath of the super typhoon.
The development of the movie started in 2014, but the production of the movie was finished February of 2020 and was first screened at the 74th Locarno Film Festival last August where it received a special award.
Kun Maupay Man It Panahon is now an official entry to the 47th Metro Manila Film Festival, produced by Cinematografika, Globe Studios, and Quantum Films. In cinemas on Christmas Day.
