If not only the finals night was move most probably today, August 21 should be the start of the pageant activities for Misters of Filipinas in the province of Negros Oriental. Speaking of the finals night you can watch it live on September 12 on Go Cineplex via the Go Shopping Philippines App, just download the app and buy your tickets there, Php 300 for the General Admission and Php 500 for the VIP that will give you an access to the preliminaries as well. Anyway, today we are getting to know our 21st Mister, representing Tondo, Kenneth Aniban.
Kenneth or Ken Ken is 20 years old, stands at 5'11" tall and although he is representing Tondo, Ken didn't grew up here in the Philippines he spent most of his life in Qatar along with his parents and he just returned to the country five years ago, he said that the reason why he came back here is that he want to explore new things that he was willing to trade the good life in the middle east to seek many different adventures and experiences here in the Philippines.
He is currently taking up his bachelors degree in International Travel and Tourism Management in Lyceum of the Philippines University Manila. On his free time Ken plays basketball, he was actually a varsity back when he was in Qatar, he is also a budding artist he wants to make it big in the showbiz industry someday and he hopes that joining Misters of Filipinas will be a stepping stone for that dream.
Spending his earlier years in the Philippines in Tondo, Manila Ken doesn't see it as a place of poverty and sadness, some might say that life there is poor and sad, but for Ken Tondo is the place where hope, dreams and aspirations thrive. People there might be living in a challenged area, but everyone is taking it as a challenge to strive for the better with a smile still on their faces despite all the hardships they've been through.

Misters of Filipinas
To share his story and to gain more experience, that's the reason why Kenneth joined Misters of Filipinas. As a kid who was technically spent his whole life on foreign soil, he believes that being a part of the pageant will get him more experience when it comes to knowing his roots, the culture, and also the people.
Ken considers the Q&A part of pageants as his favorite, he admits that he loves to talk and indeed I myself can say that he is one of the best speakers in this batch, although he still thinks that he still needs to improve his pasarela or the way he walk and project on stage as considers it as his weak points.
Confidence, that's the best thing that a Misters of Filipinas should have according to Ken, a Mister should believe first in himself, he should be confident enough to stand by what he says, his advocacy, and for him to be able to influence and inspire many people that he will meet along the way.

Body Talk
Ken believes that in order to take care of our body it should always be 70% diet and 30% exercise, he believes that having a good diet is the most important thing it is the food that we take that matters the most, exercise and work outs are secondary to support and to make our body more fit.
Before pandemic Ken goes to the gym six times a week, he's got a day allotted for his chest, back, abs, and legs work out to make them balanced and to achieve his goal of an athletic to lean build. When it comes to food his diet is consist of high protein and low card diet, but on Sunday's he still indulge himself to sinful foods to keep him sane in the midst of his bland diet.
He considers his eyes as his best asset, meanwhile the part of his body that he wants to improve more is his mind, he still want to learn more and he is hungry for more knowledge that's why he kinda consider it as his area to focus more on.
