It's Friday the 13th and we are going to meet prolly one of the cutest guy in this batch of Misters of Filipinas, We say hello and welcome to the 13th Mister, representing the province of Laguna, Derick Allen Lauchengco.
Derick is 21 years old, stands at 5'11" tall. He is a student-athlete, taking up Marketing Management and he used to play for the University of Perpetual Help System in Binan, but sadly due to pandemic he was forced to stop and he is about to transfer to Enderun Colleges in BGC, Taguig.
As a basketball player since high school, Derick loves shoes especially basketball shoes, he collects them and his favorites are the Jordan's he seldom uses those and some are still unused and some are on display all over their house, well he's a sneakerhead indeed.
During this pandemic, Derick has also organized different outreach programs and donation drive to help those who are also greatly affected by the pandemic in their town in San Pedro.

Misters of Filipinas
Having a big platform like the Misters of Filipinas, Derick wants to use it to amplify his advocacy which is Youth Empowerment, he wants to influence and to inspire the youth not only in their place but in the country as well, being a student athlete as well he wants to push the younger generation to study well and push to achieve their dreams despite all the hardships and obstacles ahead of them.
Representing the whole province of Laguna was a big honor and opportunity for Derick, opportunity to prove that he can do it despite growing up with a low self esteem and confidence because of a speech defect he and his brother experienced. At this point, Derick has overcome that speech problem and is now more than eager to prove to others that every set back is a prelude to success.
For Derick it's being responsible and being respectful are the two characteristics that a Misters of Filipinas should have. Being a Mister for him is like having a big responsibility as you will now become a role model to many and knowing how to respect the differences of each and everyone.

1. How do you take care of your body?
"Discipline po, unang una po yun sa list natin kailangan po natin mag create ng healthy habits tangalin po natin yung mga unhealthy mindset, negative mindset start po tayo sa sarili natin mag reflect po tayo. Quality sleep iwasan natin ang pagpupuyat kasi syempre po yung katawan natin pangit po pag inaabuso natin masyado."
2. Do you follow any work out routines?
"Ngayon po kasi focused ako sa weight training kumbaga binabawasan ko po yung cardio naglean na po yung katawan ko, may cycle po kasi yan may bulking, may cutting season so ako po kasi naglose na po ako ng weight nag underweight po ako, bumaba na po yung body fat percentage ko so bawas po muna ko sa cardio."
3. How about diet?
"More calorie intake po ako, kailangan ko magkakain ng high calories pero yung malilinis kumbaga mga healthy calories, mga greens and fruits."
4. Favorite part of your body?
"Actually sa body kailangan lahat po maging favorite po natin kasi kung may kulang po hindi po sya magiging proportion, hindi po tayo makakapag perform ng maayos yung figure po natin hindi magiging equal."
"Kailangan po talaga lahat winowork out natin para maging proportion."
5. Body part that is frequently noticed?
"Ang napapansin po kasi yung mga tinatawag nilang sexy muscles daw po eh, yung shoulders, chest, v line, abs, yun po yung napapansin."

"Supportive yan po isa sa una, yung maiintindihan po yung kung paano tayo nagtatrabaho, yung mga gusto po natin, kailangan suportahan lang po dapat, second syempre po maganda, and third yung God centered po sya ayun pinaka gusto ko po."
3. What turns you on and what turns you off?
Turn On:
"Natuturn on po ako kapag family oriented po."
Turn Off:
"Yung pinapabayaan po yung magulang, dun po ako galit na galit. Ayoko po na nakikita ng mga matatanda na nahihirapan, napapabayaan po ng mga anak."
4. When do you feel sexy?
"I feel sexy kapag nagiging proud yung magulang ko, kapag nafifeel ko na masaya sila sa mga naachieve ko ang sarap magflex."
