One of the top male pageants in the country, the Misters of Filipinas pageant is set for a big comeback this 2021 as they resume their quest to find new Misters that will represent the country in different pageants around the world.
With hundreds of aspiring candidates from all over that submitted online, the first batch of candidates that were chosen from the NCR Plus (That includes Laguna, Cavite, Rizal, Bulacan, and Pampanga) casting that was held last June 12, following the strict health and safety protocols the aspirants where all subjected to an RT-PCR swab test before they get through the final casting.
Out of the 24 aspirants that were called back 12 were chosen to become official candidates for the 8th edition of the Misters of Filipinas, meanwhile the Province of Tarlac were already fielded in there official candidate. They were judged based on their looks, physique, interview, and stage presence, these 13 official candidates will be joined by other candidates from different Misters franchise from other provinces, cities, and municipalities.(There will also be a final casting that will be done for aspirants from Visayas, Mindanao, and the rest of Luzon that will be done virtually)
The 8th Misters of Filipinas pageant will be held in the beautiful city of Dumaguete, province of Negros Oriental this coming August 1-10.

There will only be one winner in this edition that will be crowned as Man of the World Philippines that will compete in the Man of the World pageant that will be held here in the Philippines later this year. The winner will instead have 4 runners up that might serve as reserves, as most of the winners from the 2019 batch hasn't competed yet.
