Joseph Ventinilla: The Swimmer Hottie

Time flies so fast and we are already midway of 2021. Summer might be over and the rainy season is starting to take over, but that will not stop us in welcoming our Guy for the month of June. Joseph Ventinilla.

Let's get a little bit of introduction for our new guy for this month, if you might find him familiar, Joseph is an athlete, he is one of the top swimmer for the College of Saint Benilde Blazers along with his twin brother back in college.

Joseph is now 26 year old, stands at 5'6" tall, wears a small or medium size of shirt, got a 29 inch waist line, and wears a size 9 shoes. Years after he graduated from college we get to talk about how he was able to keep his fit form and that hot physique as we kick off our feature with him this independence day.

  1. You were an athlete way back in college, how were you able to maintain that physique throughout the years?

-Way back in college we train every day from Monday to Saturday swimming and land training. When i graduated and stop swimming it’s so hard...specially malakas ako magworkout before and malakas din kumain. So ngayon discipline talaga specially the food intake.

My swimming career didn’t end up...eventually naging swimming coach ako and since nagtuturo ako syempre dapat good shape si coach. And other than that, i do alot of activities like biking, running, boxing, and calisthenic workouts. You just have to alot atleast 1-2 hours of your time a day.

  1. Is there a certain workout routine that you follow?

-HAHAHAHAHA actually wala. A lot of people ask pero kung ano lang talaga trip ko on that day mismo or my availability.

  1. As a swimmer, is there a particular part of your body that needs to be maintained

-For me, the most important thing as a swimmer to maintain is the core and the rest of the body is the flexibility.

  1. What about diet? What food you avoid and you take?

-Diet? What diet? Hahahahaha joke. No rice, beer or soft drinks yun lang naman. The rest lamon. You need protein and carbs pa rin naman to boost you sa workout and energy for the whole day.

  1. You are on the water most of the time, how important is water intake for an athlete?

-Definitely water is the most important for an athlete or any regular person. At least 8-12 glasses of water.

“Water is life” -Joseph V. ðŸ˜‚😂😂

  1. What part of your body is your favorite?

-Before my favorite is my abs but now is my chest.

  1. What about that part that still needs improvement?

-Pwede ba height? Haha joke. My arms and shoulders definitely.

  1. Any pre workout rituals you do?

-Uhmmmmm alam niyo na magbati ng itlog at kumain. Hahaha joke. Banana is good or kahit any light meal lang for energy. And of course, the most important ritual i do is stretching. Always remember that.

  1. What for you is the hardest to work on, the Chest, the Abs, or the Legs?

-For me the hardest is the legs. I mean I don't have chicken legs cause i run and bike a lot of times but yeah super tamad ako sa legs. Mahirap kasi mag workout ng legs then you have all day working and walking on your job. HAHAHAHA

  1. Any advice you can give to those who want to get fit as well.

-Focus on your goal. Dont workout or exercise for someone you want to impress or show off instead do it for yourself for good health and good body. Discipline is the most important value when it comes to exercising.

And let’s stop the saying “Bukas nalang” instead “Start now!!!”

Next week we get to know more of Joseph Ventinilla, but before that please do follow him on his social media accounts, at @jsphventinilla on Instagram and Tiktok
