Pageant fans will need to wait for a few more weeks before the new queens of Binibining Pilipinas will be crowned.
The oldest and grandest pageant in the Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas announced earlier today that the Grand Coronation Night of the 2020-2021 pageant is moved to June 27 from the earlier April 17 coronation, citing the welfare and safety of their candidates that they must safeguard first since the National Capital Region and nearby provinces are still under the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine until the end of the month due to the sudden spike of cases.
BPCI already hosted several events this year for the candidates such as a Photo Exhibit, Online Sponsor Tours, New Photoshoots for their Portrait and Swimwear.
From 40 aspiring Binibinis, the candidates are down to 34 as of this moment.
