The Film Development Council of the Philippines has officially introduced the 10 competing films in this year's Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino, the first three films were already announced earlier this year namely;
Cuddle Weather, from Regal Films and Proj. 8 cor . San Joaquin, directed by Rod Marmol, starring Sue Ramirez and RK Bagatsing.
LSS or Last Song Syndrome stars Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos, introducing Ben & Ben, directed by Jade Castro, from Globe Studios.
Joining forces this year are Paolo Ballesteros, Martin Del Rosario, and Christian Bables in The Panti Sister from The Idea First Company, directed by Jun Robles Lana.
The fourth film is G! from Cineko Productions, starring Mccoy De Leon, Mark Oblea, Kira Ballinger, Paulo Angeles, and Jameson Blake, directed by Dondon Santos.
Next is the Millenial movie I'm Ellenya L, starring Maris Racal and Inigo Pascual, directed by Boy 2 Quizon, from Spring Films and N2 Productions.
JC Santos is back for his third year in PPP with Arci Munoz this time in the movie Open, from T Rex Entertainment, directed by Andoy Ranay.
Jean Garcia goes action in the movie Watch Me Kill , directed by Tyrone Acierto, produced by Cinebandits Entertainment.
Next is Adolf Alix Jr's Circa, a movie that pays tribute to the 100 years of Philippine Cinema, starring Anita Linda with a special participation of the late Eddie Garcia.
Another veteran actress is up with Angie Ferro as Lola Igna, directed by Eduardo Roy Jr. and capping off the 10 entries is the Visayan movie Pagbalik, starring Gloria Sevilla and Suzette Ranillo, directed by Hubert Tibi and Maria S. Ranillo .
