#NCAA95 Day 4: Letran sends JRU to 0-2, San Sebastian dominates Mapua, CSB Stuns Perpetual Help.


The Letran Knights chalked up their second victory after three games as they beat down the JRU Heavy Bombers 55-43. 

The Knights were led by Edson Batiller with 14 points, while Ry Dela Rosa top scored for the Heavy Bombers with 15 points. 

Letran improves their record to 2-1, while JRU drops to 0-2.

The San Sebastian College Golden Stags goes up 2-0 in the standings with another dominant win, this time against the Mapua Cardinals 92-68.

The Stags dominated the game as they led the whole game as high as 33 points, 6 Stags were able to score in double figures led by RK Ilagan with 20 points, followed by Allyn Bulanadi with 16 points, Alex Desoyo added 14, Ken Villapando had 13, JM Calma gave 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Alvin Capobres contributed 10 markers. 

On the side of Mapua, Noah Lugo top scored with 13 points, Laurenz Victoria added 11 points, while Warren Bonifacio had 10 points. The Cardinals dropped their second game to remain win less in the competition.

The College of Saint Benilde Blazers blazed through the Perpetual Help Altas 75-63 to grab a share of the top spot with 2-0 record. 

The Blazers were trailing behind in the first half of the game, scoring 14-18 in the opening period and finishing the first half down 33-26, but they were able to turn things around in the third period after outscoring the Altas 23-8 to take over the lead 49-41. 

Defense was the key of CSB in this victory as they were able to convert more turnovers into points and they were able to out rebound Perpetual 53-43. 

Carlo Young led the Blazers with 14 points, while Kendrix Belgica added 12 points. Jielo Razon led on the side of the Perps with 15 points, Kim Aurin added 12 markers as the Altas drops their record to 1-1.
