The San Beda Red Lions took control of the top of the standings after they swept away the Lyceum Pirates in their match that ended at 75-68.
The Red Lions dominated the game after leading by as much as 20 points in third period, though the Pirates were able to defend their ship in the final period it wasn't enough for them to complete a comeback against San Beda.
Robert Bolick and Jame Kwekuteye both scored 18 points for the Red Lions, Donald Tankoua added 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Javee Mocon added another double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Mike Nzeusseu led the Pirates with 16 points, Jaycee Marcelino added 14 points, while MJ Ayaay added another 11 points.
