The first round of eliminations wraps up for the Basketball tournament of the 94th season of the National Athletics Association of the Philippines and what's better to end the first round is via an all star games featuring different players from different teams showing off their skills and playing together in the All Star games.
Before the battle between the Saints and the Heroes in the All Star Games, there were other contest that occurred, Justin Gutang of CSB capped off the Slam Dunk Championship, AC Soberano regains the 3 point shootout title, while San Beda's Penny Estacio from the Juniors, Calvin Oftana of the Seniors, and Almunus Rome Dela Rosa topped the All Star Shooting Stars contest.
Team Saints composed of players from San Sebastian, San Beda, Letran, CSB, and Perpetual Help emerges on top of the Team Heroes composed of players from Lyceum, Arellano, EAC, JRU, and Mapua 94-89.
Michael Calisaan from San Sebastian led the way for the Saints with 17 points and 13 rebounds, Javee Mocon of San Beda followed with 15 points, while John Quinto of Letran and Allyn Bulanadi of San Sebastian both added 10 points.
The Heroes were led by Lyceum's Jayvee Marcelino with 15 points, Arellano's Ian Alban added 12 points.
