The Generals opened the game with a 7-0 run, but the Chiefs were able to caught up and take over the lead at 20-13. In the second period Arellano was able to push their lead up by 10, but EAC was able to cut the lead down to a 5 point game, 26-35 at the end of the half.
The Chiefs opened the second half strong, pushing their lead up 42-32, but the gritty Generals were able to tie things up at 46-all. In the fourth period EAC was able to take the lead back at 58-53, they almost had the win at 63-61, but Ian Alban was able to tie the game at 63.
In the Overtime period, Levi Dela Cruz took over the driver seat for the Chiefs as he scored a 7-0 scoring rampage at the end part of the game to give Arellano the win.
Archie Concepcion led the Chiefs with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Ian Alban added 13 points, while Levi Dela Cruz and Rence Alcoriza both added 12 points.
On the side of the Generals, Jess Bautista had 14 points and 16 rebounds, Hamadou Laminou added 14 points and 12 rebounds, Maui Cruz added 14 markers.
