The Lady Tams punished the floor defense of Ateneo after scoring 19 service aces in this game, speaking of service aces Toni Rose Basas had 6 service aces with 7 attacks and 1 block, meanwhile Bernadeth Pons had 12 attacks, 1 block, and 1 ace. Jho maraguinot topped the scoring for Ateneo with 21 points.
In the first game the UP Lady Maroons fends off the gritty UE Lady Warriors after a five set thriller that ends at 25-19, 25-13, 21-25, 16-25, and 15-8.
Diana Carlos topped the scoring for the Lady Maroons with 22 points from 20 attacks, meanwhile Judy Abil led the Lady Warriors with 12 points.
