The much awaited event in the UAAP had just commenced and the results were very surprising as the Adamson Pep Squad bagged their first ever cheerdance title outlasting the top contenders like the NU Pep Squad and the returning UP Pep Squad with their Manila Sound Disco performance. Placing second to Adamson is the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe and at 2nd place is the UE Pep Squad who finished in the podium for the first time.
The defending champions NU Pep Squad falls out of the podium after finishing fourth tied with FEU Cheering Squad, at 6th is the UP Pep Squad, the Animo Squad of DLSU ended up at 6th, while wrapping up the results is the Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion who finished last for the fifth straight year.
In the group stunts category, though they failed to make it back in the podium in the cheerdance competition the FEU Cheering Squad showed off a clean and perfect routine to get their second title in the group stunt category, Adamson Pep Squad finished second, while the UP Pep Squad placed third.
