The San Beda Red Lions overcome the fire power and intense defense of the Lyceum Pirates as they finally dealt the Pirates their first defeat this season and take the game 1 of the finals 94-87.
Donald Tankoua roared the loudest amongst the Reds after he gave an astounding 27 points and 20 rebound performance in this game. Robert Bolick who has become one of the most consistent guys on the side of San Beda added 24 points, while Davon Potts and Javee Mocon added up 15 and 11 points respectively.
NCAA Season 93 MVP CJ Perez topped the scoring for the Pirates after he scored 25 points, Mike Nzeusseu added 14, while Jesper Ayaay added 11 points.
Game 2 of the Finals is scheduled on Thursday, November 16 still at the Big Dome, Araneta Coliseum at 4pm.
